I've had the privalage of playing brawl and i have got to say, there are some significantly great things, and bad things. but most of all im very disapointed with sonic and how bad and predictable his moves are.

Is there anyone else out there who has some good, bad, or strange feelings on there first play of brawl?

Marth is going to be my main because I am an actual Marth fan, and own a real life copy of FE3, and started a new save file on it. That should credit me as enough of a Marth fan to shoot down people that say "you are only playing Marth because he's good!"

sometimes i think im the only person in the world who actually hates the smash ball.
it feels so...unbalanced. many final smashes are better than others, and, by default, some characters are better at getting to it.
Like snake. good at getting the ball, with a great final smash.

but then again, i never liked items to begin with...but i do like the pitfall or whatever its called. the time slow item is pretty rad too.

This post is so stupid it hurts.

On topic, I played Brawl last week. It's ****ing fun as hell. You will not be disappointed. The physics are somewhat awkward at first, but after a few matches, everything will feel natural.

Amazing game.

I played a couple rounds of Brawl when Nintendo was holding their LA Brawl Tournament a couple weeks back. I didn't participate in the tournament (you had to be over 18, and it was announced while I was waiting in line), but there was a booth at the event where others got to play Brawl.

I played two rounds, one as Samus, and the other round as Bowser. Samus felt very different as she seemed to jump a lot higher than before, couple that with my getting used to the classic controller. I considered this my "test match." On my second round (I like to call this my first "real match"), I had no trouble playing as Bowser and I won that match (I had an epic sudden death match facing a Charizard). The classic controller started to feel natural for me.

It was a shame I had to leave early. I would have done a couple more rounds to try DK and Diddy. Those long hours of waiting in line really hurt (and strengthened) my legs.

also, i dont really want to reconsider Luigi, especialy because he was my best in melee. also, ness's gangster outfit/color change is really sweet!

Toon Link got no counter. He is the best character, only surpassed by Fox and Meta Knight.

you should check your area. a lot of people in the smash comunity have hacked a ***. version of the game. in total, i proboly have played 300-400 matches. it truelly is an awsome game.

i dont play items. i only like to practice tournement standards to better prepare myself. personaly though, i just like looking at the final smashes, but not actualy using them. there rather anoying, and skill less victory for whoever happens to get one in a match.

If you say Fox and Metaknight are the best characters in the game you obviously have little (or likely no) experience with the game, at all......

Does anyone think they know who the best character is? Just wonderin'.
Doubt it though.
i would have to say marth, pokemon trainer, or bowser. there moves seem to counter a lot of others and it seems very hard to kill there well balenced moves with other characters. Lucus would also have to be pretty high up on the "kick butt" list as well.

^(fredjackson) Someone really needs to put an end to your Trollin'. Your immaturity is clearly reflective of a Halo Fanboy. Good Job.

Oops, never mind, thanks Youko.

k, but can you tell me why, all i will say right now his jump is bad. but there are some signifucant reason why he got worse

Too bad nobody here cares how great Mr. Game and Watch got.
game and watch in my opinion got quite a bit better, and balenced. the one bad sid effect is that his up-b is shorter. although, the programers made it really easy to recover in brawl.

That's what I'm saying.

He DID get better. MUCH better.

But almost no one here cares. They'd prefer Ike.
i can see you might be a GaW main. cool man

in some points i agree with you. like the melee champ of the world mains mew two, but in brawl, because its so balenced, characters like samus (regular) and Ganon who got significanlty worse. i have seen some people use ganon well though, but if they go against a sword or long range character, there done for.

Actually I need to apologize for this tone. But firstly do you have a spellcheck on your browser? It'd help loads.

Secondly I direct you to my thread in my sig, where you can learn not to suck balls with Sonic.
