I'm waaaay out of the loop since I had no internet in awhile. Any new interesting devolopments? New characters, stages, anything like that? I'd look around, but with so many topics, and so many pages in them, I don't have a clue where to start looking.

EDIT: Now my post count went from 1,000, to 5? And my sig with my wishlist is gone too...this sucks...

So, just Fox is confirmed? No new thrid party, no new character that hasn't been on it before? A Mario Kart level seems nice...

Ya, that's pretty much it. Apparently Mr. Sakurai and Mr. Miyamoto have gone on record saying that Sonic is the most requested characters and they have contacted SEGA about it but SEGA hasn't responded. Other than that, we're pretty much where we were when the poll on the Japanese site shut down.

So, Nintendo want's Sonic in, and Sega won't respond. Guess that means Sega doesn't want Sonic in it...if only Yuji Naka didn't quit Sonic yet, we all know Yuji would want Sonic in. But since Sega hasn't responded, I guess we can kiss Sonic goodbye...

Whatever you've heard about Sonic is false.

Shigeru Miyamoto and Yuji Naka (creators of Mario and Sonic) have at different times both expressed their interest in putting Sonic and Mario in a game together. However, Naka no longer works for Sonic Team or Sega, and Miyamoto is not directing Smash. There has been no actual word concerning Sonic's possible inclusion in Brawl from either Nintendo or Sega, be it whether anyone has asked for Sonic to be in, or whether Sega has said anything, or anything like that.
