Alright this tourney is nothing speical, Just a few friends from school and yours truly. I wanted to know a few things about hosting a tournement.

First, this is melee not (brawl) so I am wondering if my school would know anything about counter picking and just regular picking, should I even mention the fact that stages can be counterpicked and such?

Second, i'm having two sets of matchs, first one is cash-bracket which is 5$ entry and the instead of just the winner getting cash im changing it to 60% first place 30% sencond and 10% thrid. Is the good? or should I change it? the second is just a friendly, you know for people who know there gonna lose but still wanna play.

Third, People complain about C-sticking because it's (not true to the game) or some crap, but a majority of my friends use C-Stick, Should i Bann to make some happy? or not ban and make that others happy?

fourth, I'm setting it up double elimination (obv), how would that work though? is it...lose one and go to loser bracket for a chance to vs the winner of the final? or just lose and you get anthor chance in your bracket? or is it that if you lose a match aginst a person you vrs him again...sorta like a best out of three?

fifth, as for refreshments and food and such, im hosting this for about 50 people, whats a good set up for some refreshment ( i know this is more off topic but it will still help me for the people who have hosted tourneys in the past ).

and finally if I missed anything please let me know. Thank you in ADV. =D

=O I know, But a majority of the so called "good players" who are gonna come complain about c stick. idk I know i shouldn't sence its natrual. But some people suck at life and complain where they haven't learned. and the less skilled people i taught how to play use c stick.

Well you guys have to understand. I play with a bunch of unexperienced players, the kind that haven't even watched a professional match. So if they lose, they complain. they call it nub to use c stick because it's not how the game is suppose to be played. I'm just saying. this is a local "unexperienced" toruney, If it made a majority of the crowd happy, wouldn't it be smart to take action?

I can understand. It might be harder to L-cancel and Shuffle without it, but I would still do fine with the A button. But, what you say goes, so what if everyone started whining to ban Marth or something?

Heh, if the people there are unexperienced, it wouldn't be a problem, I guess.

WAT NO NOT WAVEDASHING. ;3

Good luck though.
