Happened to play a pretty decent Wario at this fest... I wish someone played Snake though since I hear he's a good Ike counter whaah.

I love watching Ike videos, if for no other reason then to watch to see if someone eats a forward smash. Nice Aether spike on the second ZSS video, I've never even thought of using his recovery like that.

Yah well the thing with Aether is you get the ledge after it's done..unlike Dair where it's unknown if you'll make it back (if you mess up). Even if you mess up Aether you still have the vertical cover of the sword and your Super Armor so it's almost zero risk so I always go for an Aether Spike when the opponent is out of options....although the one on Zero Suit was accidental I think..depends on which vid you're referring to.

Silven, I'm going to PM you my brawl code tonight when I get back home from work.

No offense to Casshern, but you need to really see what an Ike + Wario matchup is like from the perspective of someone who knows the matchup well and knows whos at fault in the matter.

I'll try to record it too. Up for it?

Ike should give wario trouble with his monster priority. But, Wario can easily edgegaurd and has a superior recovery. The matchup is more even than demonstrated.

Lol oh god. After playing Silven, my first actual GOOD Ike matchup I figured that Wario sincerely has little to no edgaurd game vs a good Ike. On soloid ground Wario could stand his own very very nicely against Ike, but anywhere outside Wario's comfort zone and Ike just scored a spike or 40%.

Interesting matches. Still watching all of them, but its giving me some insight as to how Ike should be played. Since I'm going on the policy to use all new characters for awhile, I want to see how they work. And good job making Wario eat a forward smash; delicious.
