I only have 1000 blocks of memory left on my Wii.

What? I like the Virtual Console, and I'm too lazy to buy SD cards...

How much space do you think a stage will take up?

I don't see Brawl alone taking up much space either. It's only records, names, configurations, and unlocked content.

SD cards are very cheap, and in relation to Wii data they can hold a lot of information. Brawl stages will take up very, very little room on a 1GB SD card, which is the most common for Wii owners. I don't know exactly the proportion of the card, but a fraction of a percent is the best estimate. Once again, no idea how small of a fraction.

Just buy one dude...<_<

And if you can't afford $10, borrow it from someone and NEVER pay that person back. It's only $10, he/she won't care.

I think I have around 16000(Is this possible? It sounds right.) blocks left and I'm still going to get one. If you have an SD drive on your computer like I do, then you should get one anyways so you can get really sweet stages in bulk. Keep in mind that Sakurai said each custom stage will be very small in size, so one could assume that you could fit a bunch of them on an SD card.

as far away from you as possible
I have a 2 Gig SanDisk Memory card, and it has about 50 times the amount of storage my Wii has left.:) If your Grandparents bought you all those VC Games, then you shouldn't worry about $10-20 for a memory card. Just remember, third party cards. Ninty's are way over priced.

PS. Krusk, I like your Sig;) Where'd you hear that? I know it's a sign of a good leader, and that I heard it on Futurama After I had heard it previously, but where'd you hear it?

Buy it on Amazon. The one's that come in bulk come without any packaging or instructions etc, but you save a lot more money!

What's the largest size of SD Cards. I know I've seen 4GB Micro SD. That would make for ALOT of stages and matches I'd say.
4GB is the biggest I've seen, but remember the Wii can ONLY USE 2GB OR UNDER.

I live with my grandparents.

You know how cheap some old people are.
So you're grandparents are the ones supplying all the money? Way to go splurging it on VC games.

Be grateful that you have a Wii in the firstplace and that you have loving grandparents providing the paycheks/retirement funds to buy your VC games as well.

Instead, why not keep those extra few blocks left and reserve them for Brawl? Or at least until your pre-pubecent self grows old enough to get a job and pay for your own expenses and purchase a cheap $10 MiniSD card.

Problem solved.

PS> don't you own any other Wii games that you've saved game data from? it doesn't take much sense to estimate how much memory Brawl would take based on the number of blocks your current games take.

oh wait, you said you were too lazy to buy an SD card. So which is it? Grandparents are cheap or are you too lazy? Yet, not lazy enough to post for advice....bravo

I already have an sd card so I can run AVI files on my portable dvd player.

A 1 gig card is only like, 20 bucks I think. Id reccomend getting one, because even if its not much use for your wii, it will be useful for other things.
