So far, what stage(s) do you think will be an official tournament stage for Brawl?

Hey, guys. I was just taking another glance at some of the SSBB videos...And the stages I've seen so far look like they all might make the cut for an actual official tournament stage. By description or stage name, from the videos you've seen, what stages do you think will be used as a tournament stage for Brawl?

P.S. - Getting reference for this now might prepare us what to look out for when an actual tourney starts .

I don't know. I think the tournament organisers should rethink the opinions, because it looks like many of the levels are going to be alot whackier this time around, and would have been banned in Melee.

This is so impossible to speculate about, we don;t know ****. There could be a fire breathin dragon that jumps out and bites your *** of randomly below that level. We don't know anything.

this is a good point but all unknowns aside and just pretending the levels are normal without any little "extras" (such as fire breathing dragons) what would you think?

In that case I think that the above stage will make the cut.

i actually think every stage that has been shown in a trailer so far would make it into tournaments, all that they remove are levels that have randomness and levels that have unfair advantages to a certian character (i.e. hyrule with fox spamming lasers...)...maybe the castle stage will be banned, but it didnt look too big from the trailer (not as big as hyrule), so i dont think so. although we havent really seen half of the stages that we have seen parts of.

Metaknight's area looks pretty fair, and I think Metaknight as a char enjoys fair fights

I assume they're going to implement a final destination level given the popularity of it in the earlier game, so that's probably going to be the tourney level.

So far, every stage seems tournament legal... From the castle, to Yoshi's Island, to even the Go Karts, I think the makers are actually considering the stages to an extent for us players... Hopefully, everyone of those stages they create will be legal...

No, there's gotta be some wacky, illegal ones in there. Sometimes I just like to play for fun.

Maybe they've made so you can turn off the hazards. Like, maybe the Arwings and the Halberd shoot at you but if you turn off hazards they just fly in the background. Sounds pretty awesome.

And, about Final Destination...I hope the increased aerial freedom means that a Final Destination type stage won't be the fairest stage and thus excluded. :/

1) Its weird that you want such a beloved stage to be banned
2) The only way for a stage to be banned is random elements and extreme character favoring.

We do not know how the characters will be, so that cannot be determined.

I would say so far, pokemon stadium, halberd, yoshis island, battlefeild, and soaring starship. As for snakes stage, we havn't seen it properly yet. And for the temple stage, pits stage, flaming castle and mario kart, these look like banned/ counter picks
