Hello Smash-Community, making my entrance here etc.
I hope this is the appropriate board to ask this question:

Since I am quite late with starting Smash Bros. 4, I'm still busy unlokcing all these Milestones. I didn't spend thought, so I already bought all the DLC chars and noticed they also make their appearance in All-Star. And there are a few milestones that require finishing All-Star...
I've wondered: It appears that with the 4 DLC characters, the enemy list just got longer. So you go up against all the characters there are PLUS the DLCs. That would make some of the milestones for the lot among us who haven't done them yet a lot harder...
Or is there a way that I haven't found yet to remove the DLCs temporarily from that list? Or am I all wrong and in place of the new chars, some of the older ones vanish from the enemy list?

It'd be cool if someone experienced with this could enlighten me here!

When I've played all-star after downloading the DLC characters, they were all included as opponents in that mode, so that does seem to make some of those challenges harder to clear.

That said, someone else on smashboards (Kokonoe) was successful in taking out Mewtwo from all-star by deleting their Mewtwo DLC data a while back and then was able to get back all of Mewtwo's records and trophies by just redownloading it. I'm not totally sure if that would work for the other DLC characters, but worst case scenario it shouldn't be too difficult to redownload everyone again if that doesn't work.

Thank you! That answers my question quite well.
The thread you linked was also very informative. The people speak about re-downloading the DLC characters without losing stats or anything else. I'm quite new to the e-shop business however. Does that mean once I delete downloadable content, I can reload it via my Nintendo Network account later without repaying the normal buy price?
Because that would decide if its worth the hassle to make it through the All-Star challenges that way. It gets exponentially harder the more DLC characters they release.

I hammered the allstar challenge where you need to complete allstar with every character on hard.

Thankfully, you can redownload DLC without having to pay for it again. There's a guide for how to do that here, if you're interested. It doesn't seem all that difficult.
