You need: +8-10 speed and a Smooth Lander equip.
Short hop, buffer air dodge, then Fair so everything comes out on frame. On hit, you seem to land and get the hitbox out simultaneously, which means Fair's landlag ticks down during the attack's hitlag. The +8-10 speed is the exact range you need for that frame perfect landing on SH->AD->Fair. With Smooth Lander on, it is such that you can immediately act when hitlag ends. With a Critical Hit proc, you can actually Fair someone twice since they suffer extra hitlag on a crit while you do not.
It's not going to be useful since equipment effects are off 99% of the time, but I felt like it something neat and buggy to share whenever you do play with equips. It works on 3DS too, but controlling this precisely without C-stick is a major pain so I didn't bother trying it much at the time.
