Snake's codec conversations weren't announced on the British / Irish version of Dojo

I realise it's been a long time since the relevant update now, but I only just noticed this. At the time of the Snake updates I was confused about how everyone seemed to know that there were codec conversations for every character, and figured it must have been mentioned in an interview or something that I'd missed. However, I just checked the American version of the Dojo and realised it was because it was announced in the updates there, but not in the British / Irish version. This seems very strange to me as they use the same translations and text, with the only previous differences I've noticed being the apology for the delay and the little box with the release date on the American version. Does anyone have any idea what the reason for this difference might be?

I apologise if this has already been covered at some point, but I did search and I couldn't find anything about it.

I'm guessing maybe because they don't have Snake speaking in a British/Irish accent, but yea it sucks that it took you all this time just to find out about it

Hmm. I wonder what Snake has to say about Sonic, Ice Climbers, and Donkey Kong/Diddy.

I hardly understand why there are American and British versions in the first place. The only main difference I can tell the the occasional different slang, but its still in clear English... aw oh well

I think the main reason is the release date information, they don't want people to get confused and then disappointed.

The reason can't be the accents, it's not like they've ever changed the English-language voices in any of the games, or even changed things like 'mom' to 'mum'.

I'm wondering what Snake will think of Lucas...

SNAKE: Is this a joke? It just some kid!

C:That's Lucas, Snake. He first appeared in the game Mother 3.

SNAKE: Ive never heard of that game...

C:That's because it was only released in Japan.

SNAKE: What happened to Ness?

C:Lucas replaced him.

SNAKE:NOOOOOOOOOOOO! THAT'S IT I'M GOING TO KILL THAT KID!

C:O_0
