Snakes Box

Ive been thinking and thinking and i only came up with one reason as to why snake would use that box. I'm thinking it would be instead of a colored bubble when u block it will be his box? lol its stupid i know but i was hoping u guys/girls can come up with something better

Note: it would be weird if he used it to hide in the box....i really wouldnt be confused as to where he is at if i were fighting him lol or maybe when u use it you'll end up going to the back of the stage hiding just like in the trailer? maybe?

I think it will similar to yoshi's egg in past games, the box will be used for his shields and his rolling dodges. Although i dont know how he would roll in a box....

I don't feel like reading everything everyone's said. So maybe someone already said this, but what does Snake use the box for in the Metal Gear games? I'm not too familiar with any of the MGS games, but if you know what the box does in those then you could probably get a good idea of how it could work in Smash.

Maybe he wouldn't have to roll, maybe he could do a quick little spin on his feet, if you know what I mean. It's hard to describe the mechanics of it.

But the moment I saw the box I was certain it was his shield. I still think it is.

No I don't. It was on the old site, along with the "How This Game Came To Be Made." Thingy. It was in Snakes Profile where it went Snake? SNAAAAAKEEE!!!

It could be like this-- Say snake and fox are fighting and snake uses the box. Fox, while in close range, makes contact with box which triggers a short action of fox lifting up the box. When he sees snake, he freezes for a slit second with an ! popping up above his head as if he was surprised to see snake. In short, the box would allow a quick counter attack.
