So I have a question. When it says it is $5 per game, do you mean I have to play $5 ONCE when I enter into Smash 4 singles? Or do I literally have to pay $5 per game? I know it is most-likely not the latter, but I just wanted to clarify.

It's 5$ to enter the singles double elimination bracket, Depending on time and future events we may move to round robin pools so everyone can have more games to play until the top 2 from each pool group is decided.
It's also 5$ per player in entering the doubles. We should have enough space for friendlies to happen even if you don't want to pay to be in the tournament but again, We may need all setups to get the tournament done on time, It's all going to be a live and learn experience since it seems a lot of players will be coming out this first week.

So in short, If we do normal rules you will play until you lose two best of 3s (Best of 5 for top 8 likely) total. If we do round robin, You'll likely get into a group of 5 or 7 other players that you will play each person once in a best of 3 and the best records out of those players in your pool will move onto the final 4 or 8.

There will be no tournament this weekend as the fourth of July weekend has the community center closed, I'll update the next day when it is decided.

Hey, I believe that the next tournament is tomorrow but the thread has not been updated to say when the next one is. So I'm just wondering if the event has been canceled or if it just hasn't been updated.
