Smashboards Sponsors Syndicate 2017

SmashBoards will once again support the European Smash Bros. community by sponsoring upcoming major Syndicate 2017! The event will take place on September 23rd and 24th.

After working together for last year’s Syndicate event, both parties are happy to continue the partnership. Syndicate 2016 had more than 500 players competing in Melee and Smash 4, reaching over 25000 unique viewers. The venue is centrally located in hosting country the Netherlands, which itself is easily reachable through Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Joining European top talent like Armada, Amsah, Mr-R and iStudying are Wizzrobe and ChuDat from the US, SuperGirlKels from Canada and KEN from Japan. The TOs are still in talks with various high level players and the line-up is likely to be expanded. You can always view the attendees list on Smash.gg.

Participants will be treated to side events and exhibitions including Project M, Smash 4 international crews, ladders for both games and a Jeapie vs Wizzrobe exhibition. There will also be various chances to win a custom Syndicate 2017 controller throughout the weekend.

Other sponsors onboard for this year are BenQ ZOWIE, Jimmy Joy, OGD and Controller Chaos. The event will be streamed by GeekyGoonSquad and BYOC.
