Impossible...? Yet they're doing it now...
With better hardware. Did you forget we're talking about the first 3DS already?

I'm sick of Nintendo acting like Apple.... a new iPhone comes out EVERY YEAR with 1 or 2 minor improvements... that's what they're doing with the 3DS and it's rather annoying. (Especially since I bought my 3DS XL less than a year ago.)
You don't know anything about apple if you think their improvements are minor, or if you think there's only 1 or 2 a year.

Nintendo comes out with a new system with hardware improvements that the platform, and smash, desperately needed and you think that makes them "like apple"? The only thing that makes them similar to apple in your mind is that they come out with new stuff after you buy the old stuff. That's how technology works and everybody knows this.

So YEAH. We WILL cry more, thank you very much.
You're welcome.

as cool as Splattoon looks, I don't think it will be dethroning anyone anytime soon.
Well the game comes out next year, so obviously not "soon", but the game already has a competitive scene ready and waiting for the game to come out, and with how thoroughly interesting the game's mechanics, technology, and strategy looks, it is going to have a massive competitive following that many people believe will be bigger than conventional shooters despite the very different art style.

If people are that hyped over a DEMO of the full game, with only 1 weapon and 1 map which nintendo has already said is the more tame of the maps they have planned, it can't be bad. Especially with so much on the line for the wii u if it fails.

Almost every single thing you said in your post annoyed or pissed me off. Do you have anything better to do than to search through and quote all my comments with your snippy remarks?

I'm a little upset that I just bought a 3DS XL and they're coming out with a new 3DS system with exclusive games. Is that so wrong?

I will say this... they're coming out with it, and I'm dumb enough to buy it... so I guess I'm the one to blame, not Nintendo.
