I'm thinking maybe they differ in what they do, example Waluigi doing the stomping plus tennis racket thing on Wii U, maybe Waluigi does something different on the 3ds, or maybe its the same thing, but with a slight altered adjustment.

I mean we seen Isabella throw fruit on the Wii U version, but in this pic she seems to be just sitting there.
