"Pic of the day. Unfortunately, I've been too busy working on developing the Wii U version"
Fortunately, it sounds like the Wii U version is going to be fantastic since he's been busy developing it.
But did we really have any doubt?

...of course he's still busy developing it?? It doesn't release until a month or so. Why would he suddenly just stop working on it because the 3ds is out lol

People are quick to forget that Sakurai said that he'd post stuff about secret content now that all regions have the game, so of course he'd nonchalantly mention Ganondorf.

Eh, I'd much rather have a POTD dedicated solely to Ganondorf than Homerun Contest's GSP that nonchalantly mentions Ganondorf.

Right? My farthest with is like 2700 ft with Bowser.
I did try again a few hours ago, and I was able to get over 3300 ft. with Ganondorf. It's just the Sandbag's placement that you need to keep note of when it's time to throw out that Reverse Warlock Punch.

He expects everyone to unlock all the characters within 12 hours of game release...and he was half right(?).
It took me two day. The first day I unlocked all but Bowser Jr. The second day, I unlocked Bowser Jr.

Reverse Warlock Punch

There have fun kids.
Thanks for that. I thought I was going to have to watch the video again.

Say what you want about Sakurai, but the man is dedicated to and loves the games he makes.
I remember him saying in the April direct that he would just play the game for fun during lunch breaks. I really respect that.

I've only gotten close to 2,000 ft. using Rosalina. I don't know what my Global Smash Power is though.

The only people who haven't unlocked everyone yet are all the stupid, impatient kids who haven't figured out the shortcuts yet. I beat the game in like, a day or two.

And yeah, I have no idea why people get so freaked out about him not coming back...
Wait wait wait wait.

The impatient ones are the ones that HAVENT unlocked everything yet?
And They're the stupid ones?

What I find funny is some people LEGIT think this is a spoiler... the games been out for Japan for quite some time, and has been out everywhere else for pretty much a whole week... If you didn't unlock everything within the first day or two... Why the hell didn't you? Its SUPER easy this time around, especially in smash matches, 120 matches unlocks all the characters... I mean geez. And in the words of my Lord and Savior, Captain Falcon, "COME ON!"

Yeah, I was kinda harsh about what I said. Sorry.

I know a lot of kids that own a 3DS, and all I hear from them are complaints that the game is "WAY too hard" and needs to be "WAY easier". It upsets me that kids these days (who are 8 to 13 years old) can't even get past Dark Pit and Duck Hunt. The game is very well made, and it just aggravates me how they spit on it when it's as easy as it can be.

agreed. When I was 5 I beat Super Mario Bros through the All-Stars version in about 30 minutes. note I'm 18 now and find Smash CPU to be easy as all hell... except the full 9.0 intensity Master Core battle... so many forms.

"Brah, this isn't even my final form..."

But yeah. Have you seen that "Teens React to NES" or whatever video? They can't even beat Glass Joe. GLASS. JOE.

He may not have officially revealed Ganondorf, but Sakurai pretty much told us who the best character is for Home-Run Contest.

Now, if only I could send the Sandbag flying far enough to complete that 3280+ ft. objective...
If you use Ganon, easiest thing to do is just 3 Side Smashes, then 3 Side Tilts, then just turn around and do reverse Warlock Punch. That basically will guarantee you get over 3280. You don't need the bat at all. If you wanna do it Legit. without Ganondorf...Little Mac might be your best bet or Bowser. Besides Ganon, i got like 2900+ Feet with LM and the bat.

I already figured out how to get over 3500 ft. the other day. I simply did a fully charged f-smash, an f-tilt, four d-airs, and finished up with a Reverse Warlock Punch.

This wasn't any big news since from the previous HRC it was already clear that Ganon better used his warlock punch. Same goes for Captain Falcon, but i guess Falcon punch is not that strong anymore.
