Tournament Rules
General:
· Participants are expected to be ready to play when their names are called. Participants will be given 1 minute after their name has been called, or they forfeit the match.
· Items will be off.
· Stock will be set to 4, with a seven minute limit placed on each round.
· Advanced Slob Picks: The loser of the previous round gets to pick the stage, then the winner chooses a character. The loser then chooses a character.
· The loser can also not choose any stage that has already been played earlier that round.
· Spectators may not give instructions to players while they battle. Spectators that shout instructions to players will lose 2 stock from the next fight.
Cheering, however, is awesomesauce. :D
Stage Selection:
· Neutral Stages (Stages on Random Select): Yoshi's Story, Fountain of Dreams, Pokemon Stadium, Battlefield, Final Destination, and Dream Land 64
· Banned Stages: Icicle Mountain, Termina Bay, Flat Zone, Hyrule Temple, Venom, Brinstar Depths, Fourside, and Yoshi's Island 64.
Advancement and Scoring:
· The tournament is set for Double Elimination. Each match will be determined by the best of three rounds.
· Draws will be determined first by stock, then by health. If both stock and health are tied, the participants will play Sudden Death on Final Destination.
Finally, we ask all participants and spectators to remember that everyone is here to have fun. General trash talking done in fun and joking around is ok, and some may say is part of the gamer scene. Blantant rudeness and poor sportsmanship, however, will not be tolera
