'Smash Scenes' Documentary Goes In Depth with Houston's Smash 4 Community

For the third episode of the 'Smash Scenes' documentary series, the GosuJasu team goes into depth in Houston's diverse smash community and its recent controversies.

'Houston' covers the grass root beginnings of its Super Smash Bros. for Wii U local community as well as the first days of Smash United and its recent controversy between them and formally sponsored Smash United player Joshua "The Wall" Doest. The episode also entails of local Texas tournament organizer, Allan "Xyro" Sims briefly going over the events and mishaps that took place at the infamous TGC 6 regional tournament in Texas.

"The Houston Smash Scene was filled with a lot of great talent and it was unfortunate that they have a lot of drama that interrupted their progress." says the series co-creator Jason "GosuJasu" Russak. Although drama presented itself onto the community, the Houston community clutches it out and continues to be a dominant force of undiscovered talent in terms of smash in the Southwest region.

As of recent, the Houston community is striving towards the correct and helpful path in terms of monitoring of what is said or posted towards each other in its online Facebook group. Many of its members approve, but not for the sake of themselves but for the sake of welcoming new comers joining in on Houston's rapidly growing diverse smash community.

The 'Smash Scenes' series will continue to cover undiscovered smash scenes around the world and will be released weekly by content creators, aforementioned Russak and Togglesings on their YouTube channel. Don't forget to follow them on Twitter for more updates about the 'Smash Scenes' series, smash content and other future projects.
