Smash Rookie
On Sunday, January 31st, we’re going to be having a brand new Triangle Smash 4 tournament series, Smash Sans Frontières at East Coast Gaming! The Triangle has had a lack of Super Smash Brothers for Wii U events in recent times, and we’re hoping to fill the gap with our event.
If possible, Preregistering will help us seed the event/get it started much earlier, so if you're sure you are coming along, please preregister!

Doors Open: 11 am
Games Played: Smash 4 (Singles and Doubles)
$5.00 Venue Fee
$5.00 Singles Entry
$10.00 Per Doubles Team ($5.00 Per Person)
For 10 or less participants, payout is planned to be 1st - 60%, 2nd - 30%, 3rd - 10%.
For 10-39 participants, payout is planned to be 1st - 45%, 2nd - 25%, 3rd - 15%, 4th - 10%, 5th- 5%, with a tiebreaker match for 5th place.
For 40 or more participants, payout is planned to be top 8, 1st - 45%, 2nd - 20%, 3rd - 13%, 4th - 8%, 5th/6th - 4%, 7th/8th - 3%
Venue fee is waived if you bring a full setup. This includes a Wii U with all tournament legal stages/characters unlocked (this includes any relevant DLC), complete with the latest patch (1.1.3), gamecube adapter, and an HDTV / Gaming Monitor.
Power strips and extension cords, while not required for waived venue, are greatly appreciated.
