Smash Lingo

Every group of friends who Smash probably has their own words to describe certain aspects of the game. Just for fun I thought we can share them in this thread. I can think of a few that me and my friends use:

B-<character>
The blue colored forms of the characters. Popular ones are Blink, Blugi, etc.

"The Ding"
Jigglypuff's Down-B and Luigi's Up-B

"The Poach"
Aka in Smash as the spike.

"Isai's House"
The far right side of Hyrule (The part with the green arch that looks like a house) where very extreme combos can be done. A victim of such a combo in Isai's House is known as just been "home-schooled."

"The Clap"
DK's up-smash. Getting hit by it is also known as getting the clap from DK.

Boomer
Link's boomerang

Tomatoes
Mario's fireballs

Smack Daniels
Game consisting of all Bombs and Mines, with very specific rules involving the consumption of alcohol (ideally Jack Daniels).

"How the hell did you do that?"
Whenever a new move like the shine shield break etc. is introduced.

Mirrors
Our version "dittos" where two people play the same character, ex: Link mirror or DK mirror.

Plucks
Green and red shells. Cause they go pluck.

We say the Clap as well.

Tom Combo:
My buddy tom is always Samus, its the Dair to a dead spin + Bair

Dead Spin
Getting spiked on the ground so you get hit up and stunned for a long time.

Chu foot
Pika's Bair

getting ****ing gayed:

In Japan, we call the Hyrule house "Jack House" because CaptainJack used to **** everyone in there.

"i'm stealin ur coins!" - said whenever anyone up+b's someone w/ mario (since everyone knows Mario is taking the coins from the enemy, not giving them to them!)

DK's clap is "the clap of doom" & luigi's up+b is "the uppercut of doom"

edit: Oh yeah and Samus's armor is known as "Dragon Armor" and her bombs are actually "eggs"

our name for isai's house is "the bronx". whenever my friend matt gets someone in that combo, we just start calling out "*****es get thrown in the bronx".

donkey kong - the clap is common. a fully charged giant punch is a donkey punch.

noobs are sometimes referred to as "longjumpers". i don't know if that is a common insult among smashers or not.

Anytime someone dies in a horrible fashion such as pikachu throwing fox over the edge and pikachu spamming n-air, it's called a "gay". >_>

Whenever someone resets the game in the middle of a match, it's called a "Duong". <_<

Pings are jiggly's down-b and luigi's up-b. x.x

"FREE kirby damage" is known as Kirby's u-tilt comboing to a certain damage.

"Spam" is...well...spam. >_>

"Duong land" refers to Yoshi's Island. >_>

"Stoner" refers to the repetitive use of stone.

"Kirby gay fest" refers to everyoen being kirby in dreamland in a timed match of five minutes. Quick deaths lah? ._.

"The Sit" refers to any character n-air.

"Falcon ****" refers to falcon's up-b. >_>

Also, we were playing DK vs Samus the other day and one of my friends who was watching me up-smash Samus says: "Oh you gave her the clap! It wouldn't be bad except she's a girl and so it means cervical cancer."

Yeah... my friend says stuff like that.

whenever someone says they'll quit smash but they eventually come back, its called "pulling an immo"

and the best move in the game is "short hop rock" ... kirby

Parry the Bair? I forgot about how that's only possible with Yoshi. Silly me.

Dair only good in combos? Right, again, I forgot about how that doesn't spike you with just one hit....

What kind of an excuse is "u cant handle it"? At least say "That move has it's drawbacks, like ______(I can't think of any, it's cheap)"

Kirby's recovery is easy to edgeguard, but so is Samus's. But she can't recover from almost anywhere on dreamland, for example.

And how, out of all of them, did you only rate Nair as the one that IS cheap?
