Smash in Monterey Bay?

I live in Salinas and go to school at Cabrillo. Is there any smash (melee) going down within an hours range from Salinas? I know there used to be the bi-weeklies at San Jose, but that isn't happening anymore apparently (the thread was renamed norcal nevers for a reason, I suppose).
