Welcome to Smash Fight Club! THIS IS THE 26TH SFC!
The Sm4sh Sunday weekly for Houston, Texas!
At Sonia's dance ballroom (a huge, AC covered venue) we are continuing SFC with TRIPLES and SINGLES! With Cloud coming out and Midgar as a neutral stage in triples, this one is gonna be good.
There will not be a stream, however we WILL record sets and upload them just like previous SFCs onto the Smash United youtube channel!
So come on down and get your match put onto youtube!
Also side note: some previous SFCs were held in a bar venue, this is not the case this time and smashers of all ages are allowed!
THE VENUE:
Sonia's Ballroom
A very spacious central Houston dance ballroom that is more than happy to have us come in and play smash.
Hours for smashers: 3:30pm to 12:00am (midnight)
Outside food/drink allowed, but PLEASE make sure to clean up after yourselves.
If you need a break to leave to get food mid bracket, ask first if you have time or you risk getting disqualified. If you are in loser's bracket, you most likely don't have time.
SCHEDULE:
3:00 p.m. - The Smash United Team begins setting up
4:00 p.m. - 1v1 and 3v3 registration begins
4:30 p.m. - 3v3 Tournament begins
6:00 p.m. - 1v1 Tournament begins
Event Fees
$5 Venue fee
(waived for bringing a TV+Wii U+Sm4sh+GC Adapter with everything needed unlocked) Wii U must be updated to current format
NO SETUP CAP!
PLEASE BRING SETUPS for the event to run properly and quickly, as well as to snag the venue waive. Laggy monitors sadly, will not get the venue waive. So keep that in mind. (Asus/benq monitors etc are always a safe bet)

1v1
Neutrals:
- BattleField/Miiverse (meaning if you strike one, you strike both)
- Smashville
- Town and City
- Lylat Cruise
- Final Destination
Counterpicks:
- Delfino plaza
- Duck hunt
- Halberd
- Castle Siege
- Dream Land 64
- Any omega stage (banning this also bans FD)
Stage Striking Order:
1-2-pick for starters and TWO bans for the winner after that for every game
3v3
Note that Midgar, Pyrosphere, Pokemon Stadium 2, and Norfair all lose their hazards in 5 player smash+

After round 1, the winning team bans THREE stages, and the losing team counterpicks.

Items set to "Off" and "None"
Team attack ON in doubles
Equipment is banned
Custom moves are banned
Pausing results in a stock loss, unless it is for the opposing player's controller malfunction.
