Rules: Super Smash Bros for Wii U
Setting: 2 stock, 6 minutes, items off, best of 2 of 3 for regular bracket matches
3 of 5 for semi finals (Winner semi, loser semi, winner finals, loser finals, grand finals) All top 8 matches will be best of 3 of 5.
Miis/Customs: No(Up for debate)
Note: This will be a Two stage Tournament. Meaning this will have both a pools stage and a final bracket that will consist of the top 8. If you sign up for this tournament you will being so knowing that you could be here for a while. This tournament can be done in one sitting as long as everyone shows up on time and does not vanish out of the blue. If you do not arrive on time for your match during any part of the tournament and the 10 minute wait time passes then you will be DQed from your match.
I will be creating on Discord a chat room for each pool in the tournament and it will be your responsibly to report to that room and use it to communicate with your fellow players. If need be I will be taking volunteers to help TO the tournament during pools. If you are interested please let me know though either Smashboards or send me a message on twitch or discord.

Banning and Counter Picks: There are 8 stages used during this tournament and as such up to 2 stages can be banned.
Starter Pick and how to pick:
1) Use Anther Ladder's Rock, Paper, Scissor's game to decide who goes first
2) Pick Smashville
Counter Pick:
Winner will ban 2 stages and the loser will pick from what is left.
Gentleman's Rule: If both players agree to stage then the stage becomes legal.
Dave's Stupid Rule: You can not pick a stage your previous won on during the set. The Gentleman's Rule can override this rule.
Replays and Handling disputes:
Please save all of your replays during the tournament in case there is a dispute about the winner. This is important since the more evidence you can provide the easier it is for me to render a judgment. If a dispute arises I will take the replay and show it on the stream and afterwards will render judgment. It is easier to play a clean match but things do happen and when issues arise they will be handled in the most professional fashion.
