And I won't post anymore in here, because I know this thread will turn into a flame war, and I can't go to that tourney anyways. So if you answer, I won't see it xO.

So are you going to PM me or insult me on another thread ?
zzzz
I guess you are going to post in here again.

Right, Zen Yore, can you stop it please? All I see in these topics are people getting angry at you because you're flaming them. So take this as a formal warning, if you flame people again I'm going to infract you for it.

And if someone deliberately tries to get him to flame them, I'm giving them an infraction too.

These boards are not here so that people can act like children on them.

New Update:

(2v2) Doubles are IN

we are thinking:
- Since there are only a few teams, Doubles will start before Singles.
- Entree fee $10 each team mate ($20 per team)
- Single Elimination
- As for game play rules, Singles Rules apply.

*let us know what you think.. majority of polls still change rules

+ We are still taking registers for both 1v1s and 2v2s

Thanks everyone

Do you seriously need 2 **** threads in the same forum? Just update one and let this one rot away >_>
No i really do not need 2 threads in the same forum, however i am posting updates here also because the view count for this thread is just as much as the other one (go figure).
And i'd personally rather just post it on one more time than have to go and argue with another person because he/she didn't know there were doubles added..

I understand this second thread is bugging you.. but i can't deny that both threads are still being viewed.

By the way anyone using the greyhound to get here, the Glendale station would be easiest for us to pick you up. Anyone using the Metro, The Gold Line has the Allen exit that you can take and it would take us literally 3 mins to pick you up from there.

Isn't it obvious that the reason each thread has the same amount of views is because half the people are looking at one and half the people are looking at the other? They would all look at one if you just kept one alive. The ssb64 forum has such a small community that it isn't hard to transfer everyone who is watching your thread (Probably 3 people or less) and transfer them over to 1.

Exactly my point lol

*ATTENTION: 2v2 PLAYERS!

Right now there are 4 registered teams and 1 that says they are in but no registeration.

Which do you prefer for the doubles matches, a round robin (double round robin, best of three), single or double elimination competition?

Listen.. arguments on this is really pointless, so this is the last thing im going to say:

You are the ONLY person complaining. You are not a mod. This isnt your or my 'house' to nag people in. My advise is simply to just stop checking my threads.

You aren't coming to the tournament.. You don't need new information about the tournament.. So again why are you constantly checking my thread if you dont like it and all you do is try to cause drama. No one is forcing you to read what is happening here. There are over 2000 different threads to choose from besides from mine to go and annoy.

We are only trying to attract easy going people who want to play smash bros. 64 and have fun doing so. Right now.. you do not fit this criteria.
In one week this will be over (unless of course the tournament is so amazing that it becomes a monthly event.) which very much could be based on the positive responses and calls we've been getting.

This is my first time on this forum, and first time throwing an tournnament and you know this just by my post count and post material, and if you dont know this, then sorry. just cut me some slack. And if the event doesnt good well... then Hey Me and my buddies are back to our regular lives and no one goes hurt. And if next time i'm on this (if ever we host something again) I will know a little better.

So just stay out of my threads and i will continue to do the same, which is stay in my threads, and tend to the 'interested' and not the 'bored'.

thanks.. have a nice day

It's funny that you send the exact PM that you sent me. I've already responded to it so I guess I'll respond to it in this thread too.

It's annoying going to the 64 section and seeing 2 threads of the same thing. It's just taking up space.

By the looks of the ruleset, you guys wouldn't even be worth the time so I wouldn't even have planned on going if I lived a block away.

There is no way that I know that this is your first forum so don't tell me what I know and don't know.

All I'm trying to say is that you only need one thread. Having 2 threads being constantly bumped for a tournament that doesn't even look like is going to have many attendies from the 64 forum is kinda useless. Your the one really taking this over bored after all I said I wanted was you to have 1 thread and not 2.

This tourney sounds sick, too bad I live WAY too far away to compete.

I'm going to be hosting one myself in the next few months, at university. I'll keep the boards updated. Of course no one here will be near enough to join, but whatever.

Are the matches from this tourney going to be recorded? The later matches, semi-finals and finals definitely should be at least

From the Organizers of the SSB Tournament... we would like to thank everyone who showed up and participated.. all of you were great to meet and play in person.

We hope you had a lot of fun.. And after discussing the event, we agreed that we wouldn't mind hosting another one in the future (maybe even an annual event). And of course now, we have more experience to run it more efficiently and know what to expect. This was our first time participating and hosting a video game event and we were extremely pleased with the way it turned out.

So again thanks and we will keep you posted with any future events..

PS: Tournament Results are up in the Tournament Results Board :)

I'm sure you are using 5 years old as an example because you don't dare to use 10-12 years old people because you probably are 10 years old.

And yeah, you would lose the first match at this tournament, considering how small you know about this game.

GG.
