The future for smash wii u doesn't look good. I don't want this to be melee 2.0 yet I don't want this to be brawl 2.0. We need to petition to have some mechanical changes in smash 4 Wii U.
1. We need less endlag on throws to allow followups.
2. Less knockback on some moves.
3. Lower endlag on aerials
4. not really a mechanic but closer blastzones.
We need this to make smash 4 Wii U a truly respected competitive game. Sign your name here if you support this petition. And tweet, post to reddit and just overall let the world and Nintendo representatives know about this petition.

I honestly find these to be reasonable demands. I personally find addressing early metagame issues to be healthy to reflect later (Although the WiiU version isn't even out yet.)

Having played the game a lot over the last three days, I'd say (in my opinion) that none of this is remotely an issue except the blast zones, and they are easy to get used to.
Aerial lag is move-by-move. If it's a killer, it will lag, so don't try to combo with a kill move.
Throw lag is case-by-case. For instance, Robin's dthrow combo's just fine into a jump Uair at most percents.
Knockback's fine on basically all moves, not sure what you're wanting there (especially with the blast zones as they are).

Early meta fixes are great, but there's very little reason to fix what isn't broken.

You couldn't even go the full 9 yards and make a change.org petition.

Truthfully I have no quarrels with the aerial lag on moves, they seem to be very reasonable.
The Knockback thing relates to the blast zones with me. Some moves and throws knock them into oblivion, yet fail to kill most of the time. I think the knock back should correlate more with the kill power of the moves.
I'm disappointed that only a few chars can follow up on throws, but that goes back to the knock back issues.

If we are to petition, I would want a bit more hitstun, especially on the ground bounces.

The only thing about this petition is that it would go off the principles of the 3DS version and I hope the WiiU version is very different.

The only change I'd expect on the U version would be blast lines, because those are stage-specific. Any other gameplay inconsistencies would be pretty surprising, since a lot of people are using the 3DS version in preparation for the U version.
