Smash ball, in or out?

Im a hardcore smash fan and when im playing hardcore matches i take the items off so i can see the skill level of both me and my opponents.

When brawl releases, im gonna play with the items on so i have a understanding of them but once thats clear i dont see myself using any other item on besides the smash ball. What are you gonna do?
