We primarily do Melee and PM and have only ran Smash Wii U once at our Biweeklies. However there is some decent interest for Smash Wii U at IU so just post in our FB page and ask if anyone is down to clown and you'll get responses from those who do!Hey guys! I drive out to Bloomington fairly regularly and hope to try some tournaments this year for Smash Wii U. I'd love to compete in some of your tournaments this semester :D
Got ya. I loved playing Melee back in the day, but I'm long out of practice since I don't have regular access to Melee. I've never played PM and don't have a Wii or Brawl but the entire concept is quite fascinating to me. As for FB, I personally don't do FB but I'll manage. If you guys ever have another Smash Wii U tournament I would be quite interested. We primarily do Melee and PM and have only ran Smash Wii U once at our Biweeklies. Edit: It looks like PM is playable on Wii U, and I happen to have a 2GB SD card lying around. Hm...
Awesome, thanks! I'll be checking here regularly for sure.We will be sure to post all event info here too so you don't miss out!
Please bring your own controllers. Are the biweeklies Bring Your Own Controller events or will they be provided?
We look forward to having you. Consider attending one of our biweeklies in the interim! The next one is February 7, 2015.New to the smash community! I am only a beginner but am very much looking forward to the tourney in April, driving in from Northside of Indy. Will only be my second tournament, definitely looking forward to meeting and learning from everybody!
Unfortunately, Smash 4 will not be part of our lineup. This is our first major regional, so we wanted to be conservative with the number of events. We hope to include Smash 4 next year!Any chance Wii U will be added to Full Bloom?
Will do! Still need to develop my game a little bit more so that I do not completely embarrass myself. I'd settle for getting just slightly embarrassed tho haha. Def will hit up a biweekly sometime in Feb or March, would love to meet some smashers! Need to get back into the gameWe look forward to having you. Hoping to show up this Saturday, got some more noob questions about the biweeklies:
1) Do signups start at 12 pm or does play start at 12pm?
2) Is the venue open to anyone or do you need a student ID to get in?
3) Do you only prefer CRT's or are flatscreens an acceptable setup?

2pm Melee singles pools starts
3pm Melee singles bracket starts
5pm PM doubles starts
6pm PM singles pools starts
7pm PM Singles bracket starts

Great! Make sure to introduce yourself! That's a lot of good information, thanks! Hope to be there on Saturday.
Unfortunately though, I don't have a CRT D:
Any cords will do! Make sure to introduce yourself!I'm not sure I'm interested in playing at all seeing as I just started learning the techniques and stuff, but I'd love to watch and learn, and maybe help out in whichever ways I can; I'm gonna see if I can't bring in a setup for you guys, but I have a couple questions. For Melee, would you rather have a GC with composite hookups or a Wii with component hookups? I also have a Brawl disc and PM, but I've run into freezing issues with it, possibly owing to the fact my Brawl disc is a little scratched. The issue comes up in regular Brawl too, so it's not PM causing it as far as I can tell.
