Great semester of Smashing guys! Awesome turnouts every week and still growing in numbers! The Fall 2014 Season is officially over for us, but don't forget to check out the Salty Sunday in Indy if you have the chance! Final power rankings are up now.

Hey guys! I drive out to Bloomington fairly regularly and hope to try some tournaments this year for Smash Wii U. I'd love to compete in some of your tournaments this semester :D

We primarily do Melee and PM and have only ran Smash Wii U once at our Biweeklies. However there is some decent interest for Smash Wii U at IU so just post in our FB page and ask if anyone is down to clown and you'll get responses from those who do!

Got ya. I loved playing Melee back in the day, but I'm long out of practice since I don't have regular access to Melee. I've never played PM and don't have a Wii or Brawl but the entire concept is quite fascinating to me. As for FB, I personally don't do FB but I'll manage. If you guys ever have another Smash Wii U tournament I would be quite interested.

Edit: It looks like PM is playable on Wii U, and I happen to have a 2GB SD card lying around. Hm...

Awesome, thanks! I'll be checking here regularly for sure.

By the way, I caved and bought Brawl for cheap and I played Project M for the first time today :D (on the Wii U, no less). it's great to see Roy again and be wave dashing after so many years. I'm still a noob at PM, but I'll seriously consider trying PM competitively since it looks like there's still plenty of community support for it.

Will do! Still need to develop my game a little bit more so that I do not completely embarrass myself. I'd settle for getting just slightly embarrassed tho haha. Def will hit up a biweekly sometime in Feb or March, would love to meet some smashers! Need to get back into the game

Hoping to show up this Saturday, got some more noob questions about the biweeklies:

1) Do signups start at 12 pm or does play start at 12pm?
2) Is the venue open to anyone or do you need a student ID to get in?
3) Do you only prefer CRT's or are flatscreens an acceptable setup?

Unfortunately though, I don't have a CRT D:

Great! Make sure to introduce yourself!

Also, even if you can't bring a CRT; still bring your console setup. There may be extra T.V.s.

I'm not sure I'm interested in playing at all seeing as I just started learning the techniques and stuff, but I'd love to watch and learn, and maybe help out in whichever ways I can; I'm gonna see if I can't bring in a setup for you guys, but I have a couple questions. For Melee, would you rather have a GC with composite hookups or a Wii with component hookups? I also have a Brawl disc and PM, but I've run into freezing issues with it, possibly owing to the fact my Brawl disc is a little scratched. The issue comes up in regular Brawl too, so it's not PM causing it as far as I can tell.

Full Bloom I is almost here!

Please help us run everything smoothly by filling out the poll provided in the link below:

https://docs.google.com/a/umail.iu.edu/forms/d/1w1VANcNnqxvZ31zQiyD6n2M49P5jf08bnwkiYsfZHX4/viewform

This will help us better estimate what attendance will look like, seed efficiently, as well as prevent players from similar regions being placed in the same pools.

Finally, check out our official trailer for Full Bloom I!
