Technically i dont think the UP+B is a spike, it hits people up. it can spike by hitting the person on the ledge and have them fall to their death.

It's not a spike, though.

It's just the action of hitting the person into the stage that results in a downward trajectory similar to a spike. A pseudo-spike, if you will.
