I think Texas LAN is better than p2p for certain combos of people across the united states

so that one person gets 4 frames and the other gets 3 frames instead of both players getting 4 frames on p2p

unless that just means I just get a higher 4 frame ping

+1, if there's no extra middleman, there shouldn't be any reason for a ping increase.

the "server" is just a group of people you allow on your virtual lan. Considering hamachi is free I find it hard to believe they are hosting a real server for anyone. The IP it gives you is unique for your computer.

Sheer and I get 4 frames, I'm up the westest washington and he's in florida(?) I don't see where hamachi would've added extra lag. Where as when me and boom play without hamachi we still get 4 frames. It's just distance and internet connection. Almost positive hamachi neither adds or removes lag.

i'll play you. i've played a couple american's with himachi and got no lag.

The increase is in some cases very tiny or almost non existant, but im 100% sure it does increase in some cases. I never got to play on less than 4 frames on Hamachi with euro players, and without hamachi im playing on 3 frames with lots of them.
Hamachi can increase the ping in about 10-15 ms that can make a frame difference, at least in my case. May be different with different connections or different locations.
