Yeah, it does suck. They're scattered all over the place. Using my computer or playing Wii U gets rendered useless as a result. Hopefully one of these days they get exterminated for good.

I just had tea and a civilized discussion with a rat infestation in my Lodgings in Fallen London, convincing some of them to leave.
An ingame hour after that, I proceeded to remove all the food from my house to starve them.
We then had a game of cricket, which I won, resulting in them giving me money and a trophy. After a few minutes they returned to shooting me with tiny rifles.

I love this game.
