, I won all the matches with multiple characters, mainly

and

. It's been ages since I haven't played the good Doc', probably because he's not really viable against big top tiers.
But anyway, you have the basics. But there's a lot of work to do. Like you said yourself, you are too passive. You never edgeguard, not even trying to do combos at times. Now, the good thing with your playstyle is you don't roll a lot. At least, you got this base covered, and it's rare to find beginners to rolling all over the stage.
You also played too much characters. I mainly played with Doc and Gunner and only once my two other mains (Mario and Mac) and a secondary (Ganondorf). Finding mains isn't easy at first, but here's a tip for you to find your mains :
- Start by looking at the 3 characters you're the best at. Three mains is the best number to have, since you can focus on characters easily without loosing the fun of playing. Your best character will be your first main, the guy you'll focus the most on. Your second best is the one you won't focus as much as the first. Same with the third character.
- If you still have characters you think you're good at, but are not on the level of your three best characters, this is where you choose your secondaries. They are planned to be mains or are just here for certain situations, like a bad matchup. You won't focus on them as much as your mains, but they'll still be here for you if you need them.
- Finally, the character you play only for fun can be put aside. I call those characters "The fun ones" since they are not played for competitive ambitions and only casually. It's just the characters you like, but you suck at playing them.
You also spam special moves too much. As an example, your King DDD only did the same moves, over and over, especially the UpB, which is still unsafe. This is a bad habit you need to get rid off. Use special moves only when necessary, like for zoning or punishing. A lot of special moves leave the player in a bad situation when used too much.
Finally, you're too predictable. It's a trend in this game, but don't repeat yourself. Try to do weird or bold things that could give you a stock. Edgeguard, bait air dodges, do risky punishes that could be worth it. Try to think outside of the box.
Anyway, ggs. I hope you'll progress in this game. And like I say to everyone I fight and lose to me, you can train yourself on
SmashLadder.
Product placement ? Maybe, but it's a useful one.
