Brawl is not a bad game. People just **** on it because it wasn't Melee. Melee players gave it a try, but eventually moved back to their game. Brawl players moved on to Smash 4, but I think they still love Brawl.

Brawl competitive scene was just as passionate about it as the Melee, and it wasn't casual at all, it just had more frustrating playstyles, where people played way more defensively.
But that didn't make it easy.

Well I never said it was easy to play, and sure, people did play it competitively. But we do gotta admit it had certain elements that didn't take too kindly to competitive play.

Lol no. It's more fast-paced than Brawl and is in fact more broken than Melee and Brawl combined. It's not as broken as Brawl minus is, but it's more broken than those two games

No smash game has been bad, but the competitive community's perspective on Brawl has made an idiotic stereotype where people apparently consider Brawl the worst game ever simply because it didn't meet the expectations of a community that wasn't even as big back then.
I played Brawl since it came out and no one is going to take the fun times i had with that game away because of some stupid competitive concensus that apparently everyone, even people who probably have never been in a tournament, have to follow.
Brawl was never bad, people just shifted their interest towards a more competitive playstyle, one that Brawl didn't satisfy for most people.
But can anyone actually tell me Brawl was a BAD game and be serious about it?
