Because the design team didn't completely design this game for the competitive 1 on 1 ruleset that we use in tournaments.

I haven't watched any MKX until today, but during EVO 2013, I only ever saw 1 fatality during the entire MK9 tournament.

I got an idea; lets make a character naturally difficult to combo, but also give her the ability to break combos, as well as some lingering disjoint kill moves.

I see no problems here.

The problem with Rosalina is Luma. It's too small, too quick to react properly, can attack out of the blue and has too much KO power. Making Luma "stronger" than Rosalina is not a good choice, they should have the same power.

If I had to make a choice between Rosaluma and the Ice Climbers (#NEVERSTOPCLIMBING) as the "Two characters in one" type, I would take the two forgettable climbers. Even with wobbling, they still were easy to understand and the concept worked better.

And I could use this image for the fun of it.
