PSP rhythm game, where you command units with 4-button drum commands.
story is actually pretty good if you care about it, it has some great songs, and has customization and RPG elements.

Since I'm finally back at my grandma's house after work and activities, I can now talk about my experience getting amiibo this morning. I showed up about 15 minutes before Gamestop opens. There were two people in line before me, and one guy showed up later. 15 Ness in stock with 5 Dedede's at the Gamestop between my grandma's house and work. The guy working at Gamestop actually stuck with the one per kind per person. The kid in front of me asked his dad to get two of each since it's two people, but the guy working said they can only get one of each. Therefore I was able to get the third Ness and Dedede. I didn't even plan on getting Dedede until I saw there were only 5. I'm so glad this Gamestop didn't break street date by selling early and followed the one of each per person rule. Of course, I showed up to work 15 minutes late, but Ness (and Dedede) were worth it! Now if I can only get my hands on Greninja...and Mewtwo and Lucas when they are released. If I can get those three, I'd basically have amiibos of my top 6 most used characters in Smash 4.
The PSP has all these weird and fun obscure games... Makes me wish I had heard of them when it first came out. I kinda YOLO'd and bought a used one for Megaman Powered Up, heh.
Here's (rather appropriately) a speed run of another good one:
