I myself will always prefer the original, especislly since Smash 4 is so good. However, I recognize how amazing PM, and all the work and effort put into it is, and that people have every right to love it and play it. Just as long as those people respect the other side's opinions (such as me lreferring Smash 4 by far) just as I respect theirs.

All it comes down to is a mutual respect for each other's opinions. Both games are great (:

Because, when I first started here, I used to see some people literally acting like the moderators' opinions somehow were worth more than ours.

If only people could civilly point that out or educate people, or maturely have a discussion about it . In a world where sarcasm runs rampant, people tend to be uncivil when talking about opinions, whether it be defending their own or pointing out someone else's ignorant (a word people have misused so often it's been given a new, informal definition) opinion.

I prefer PM over smash 4 just because i enjoy the punish game and gimping in PM far more than smash 4's and PM's movement is ungodly levels of more fluid than smash 4's

PM is soooo broken lol. More so than Melee. Guess that's why it's so fun. My poor bro hates getting zero-death comboed by me, but that's why i like the hack.

if you can consistently zero to death people playing characters other than fast fallers/bowser than your opponent has horrible DI

I just can't go back and play PM. Even if it is technically and competitively better. I am just THAT into that stuff, that I would sacrifice the Sm4sh newcomers and all of that. I also prefer the stages the way they are, as opposed to in PM. Although some are fun.

You know, people were complaining months ago about how it was "too soon" for talk of tier lists in Smash 4. We are sneaking up on 8 months of the Wii U version being out, and almost 10 months for the 3DS version, and I have to say... when are we going to get to work on an official tier list? Eventually that has to happen. It can't just be something that gets sideswiped forever.

I understand the updates might be getting in the way, but if they continue to keep putting out balancing updates, are we just not going to have one until they stop that?

As far as balance updates go we're pretty much going to get one every time we receive DLC so an official tier won't be here for some time.

The question is who is gonna cave first. I don't recall Nintendo ever saying when the updates to Smash 4 will finally cease. My guess is maybe around this time next year. Because not only do we have the August update, we have possible updates alongside the ballot DLC characters.
