Personally I try to stay as neutral as possible.
So yes. But it depends on the "drama" it would cause. If it's something silly or wouldn't cause too much ill feelings towards both parties, then I say you can do whatever, if it's something serious then it's better to avoid it unless you're very sure what you're saying and doing is sensible and accepted.

Of the five I want to get that are unreleased, Duck Hunt's the one I most worry about becoming a unicorn-level rare amiibo.

None of the LoZ amiibos are really rare, so Ganondorf should be fine. Mewtwo's well known enough to be fine, unless he's an exclusive. But even then, he'd likely be for Toys R Us, and if Greninja's anything to go by, shouldn't be hard to find on launch day. Ryu's third party. Those haven't been rare yet. Olimar's trickier, but I think he'll be like Fox or Samus: easier to get at first, but impossible if you wait (I'm planning on preordering Olimar just in case). But Duck Hunt? Definitely gonna be a unicorn.

Ness, Mewtwo, and Lucas are the ones I want most. Greninja and Marth would be a plus for me.

That sucks. :/ I got there around 1 PM local time, and there were still like 30 Greninja left. They lasted the whole day in lots of places. Sorry to hear of your store though.

The way I see it, there a lot of other important things to be sad about, so I focus my energy on those things rather than an anti-Roy guy on the internet among the millions I've already encountered
