So I'm playing through Zelda 1 right now, and one thing I'd like to see from this game in a new one are the invisible walls. Not the kind that already is in 3D Zeldas, but more like the type you have to walk over for a second as a visible wall and then go through, like in Zelda 1.
Besides that though, this game's really aged in certain aspects. Overworld is the least diverse I've seen. Just a forest, mountain and 6 screens of a graveyard.

Oh, and I wouldn't mind if future Zelda's screwed over the players like that old women who'll only talk for certain rupees, that was pretty hilarious.

R-Really ? I can ?
Now I have to think about one. Crap baskets.

And I'll see if I can put your character in as a cameo. Maybe in the audience or something like that.
Yes, that's what I was referring to (about the Aspyr cameo).
You can PM me for the icon details and stuff when you're ready.

Oh yeah...Wooly World.
Did anyone try and see what a Yoshi amiibo does with the game yet?

I think it (the yarn Yoshi amiibo) gives you another :4yoshi: but I'm not sure. Some Smash Bros. amiibo (like Mario, for example) give you skins for Yoshi.

Oh yeah, I remember them mentioning that, lol. Forgot about that.
It may be too much to ask for, but I'm also interested in knowing how many of the amiibo available currently the game is compatible with. Just for curiosity's sake though.

Well, I mean, would you really expect much in that regard for Zelda 1? Of course it's not that diverse. I just hope the new game doesn't have you re-visit the same three areas multiple times throughout the main game. And while having things that deliberately hinder the player(outside of enemies, puzzles and the like)might work for immersion's sake I can't really see Nintendo going back to that line of thinking for their game design. Game in general tend to be a lot easier these days. I think that's why Dark Souls really popular, because it brings back the difficulty in games. There's other reasons too, but that seems to be a major selling point.

Woah now, mother
You're putting me in a very serious situation here
Whenever a 10-Year Old (Or in this case, 16 by August 2015 because my Birthday comes early in the world of Pocket Monsters) gets a Pokemon
He usually has to save the entire planet from some sort of impending doom or another
I think we'll let another protagonist handle thi-
*Plot slaps me in the face*
FIIIINE >: C
I never did get why they gave kids, some as young as preschoolers, Pokemon.
The critters are living bioweapons; some being as powerful as gods (and in other cases, actual gods). Do you honestly want that hanging around with a child?

To this day, I'm still surprised the Pokemon world isn't in ruins yet.

The re-visiting seemed to be mostly because the game would always start you off at a specific point and because of the second quest. I don't think a modern Zelda would do that. But if they did, I think it'd be more bearable than Zelda 1 since the overworld for Zelda games has improved a lot since then, such as in, as I've mentioned, diversity.
And Nintendo's apparently looking back to Zelda 1 for Zelda U, which is why the game is much more open and is implied to have lesser hand-holding. So if there's a time for Nintendo to go back to it's "Nintendo Hard" roots, it's with Zelda U.

Dude, the 90s cartoons made kids that way, hands down. To the 90s kid, edgy is equal to XTREME.
MONSTER TRUCKS.
SKATEBOARDS.
NEAT TRIKZ WITH A Z.
Z ON EVERYTHING.
BODACIOUS RADICAL NEW WORDS!
DEATH METAAAAAAAAAL.

It was a new age of edges. :demon:

Nice pun. Tip of the hat to you. :4marth:
Welp, that's it. We're done in terms of punnery. I guess you could say we've reached the end of the road.
(that didn't work as well as I thought it would, wasn't on point enough).
