I've never played Smash Tour... so, srs question: It's more infuriating that Mario Party?

Let's just say that the Wolfen item is the equivalent of a Blue Shell in Mario Kart and your opponents get it 80% of all matches.

Nobody said it was such a thing; people will always find a way to complain. Smash Tour could have been something else instead of being some board version of Smash Run.

Also, I'm all about respecting opinions and everything, but Smash Tour for me is an objectively horrible experience and should have never existed. It completely defeats the purpose of why I enjoy Smash Bros. in every way.

Like seriously, I learned YESTERDAY how to get the Checkpoint Bonuses and what they did...I was embarrassingly slow on the draw.

I knew what they were immediately, thanks to Fortune Street.
Though honestly, going for the checkpoint bonuses is sometimes not worth it.
You have to really plan a route around the board if you want to get all of them and not miss a ton of stuff along the way.

I used to ate like 5-7 Blue Shells per race in MKWii (mostly while playing Mirror), so Im used to major bs

I love Smash Tour, and I think it's one of the better modes Smash Wii U has to offer.

I don't really have a problem with people disliking ST, it's just that I don't really understand why people need to be so verbally violent about it.
Really, either you like Smash Tour, or you spurn it like a spawn of satan.
I just wish people could just say they don't like it, and be done with it.
Not go on 5 hour long rants about how much they don't like it, using as much diverse vocabulary as they can, while also yelling at those that DO like it.

But sometimes it's better to not go for your mains.
With high attack power, Ganondorf and Bowser break shields pretty much instantly, and Jiggs is a monster with high speed and jump.


You really gotta choose who you want to fight with based on your stats, not on who you main.
But that's actually one of the reasons I find ST fun.

So, I did a lot with pm64 hacking today.

Here's the addresses I found:

• stats like hp, fp, coins, star points, level, sp
• every partners flags (this include the Goompa, Goombaria and Twink flag, I only keep them for fun stuff and to record corrupted music, also, Twink is cute as partner ).
• items slot array
• key items slots array
• loading zone ID (this is super powerful, if you freeze that and go to a loading zone, it will warp you where ever you want in the literal sense of the term, seriously, you can warp to the credits or the saving screen).
• Coordinate X,Y and Z (super powerful because it allows to go anywhere in the map via absolute position).
• Speed X and Z (useful to slide even without input control and to monitor the speed)
• Speed Y (mostly for monitoring it)
• angle (this allow to act as a stick orientation if your have no input control)

Next, I'll get the badge array and the equipped badges because I got some really funky stuff while messing with it.

Well, there's the rng but I really don't think I want to spent time to find it, it's probably known with the tas out and I won;t use it either.

But seriously though. **** Explosive Smash. I can't say how often I lost Bowser or Ganondorf, basically the easiest to win with in Smash Tour for reasons alluded to earlier, due to a random Bob-omb appearing as I'm using a Smash attack.

The other thing I find stupid is that the character the winner gets in a 4 Player match is of the person who came in second. Shouldn't the people who came in last be punished worse? I mean, I get that theirs get removed from play outright, but IMO it's a better alternative than someone else having a fighter that you'll potentially never get back. :/



Eh, just my opinion. I mainly try to enjoy Smash Run due to its ease of getting customs, but those few things that always get me would have drastically improved the minigame as a whole. But to each his own. I would agree that those who act like it's the spawn of Satan are overreacting though.

I'm not sure how that mode would've worked in only one screen (the GamePad displays the same thing anyway). Unless split-screen is a thing. It was obviously made with the 3DS in mind.

I was an elitist of the Pokemon video games so I never watched much of the Pokemon cartoon besides a few episodes.

It's not really tbh. It just started going downhill for me; it may be good for most people, but to me it's just... meh? I tried watching BW 2 or 3 times and I was like "... Oh."

I don't think it's good, but then again, I don't play the games nor do they interest me (same goes for the franchise as a whole), so I tend to ignore it. To each their own.

GGs @jpkurihara . Your Yoshi really needs to adapt itself. Changing strategies and not doing the same moves might help you if you don't want to be predictable.

So far, you beat me once when I was playing Mac. Little Mac isn't the easiest character to play against, even if "For Glory" tends to show the opposite. I won the rest with Mac and made one match with my Gunner and Swordsman (Hakase and Mai respectively).

You have a great character, but you always do the same strategy. You played the same for all the matches. Your moves feels sometimes random, like the Nairs that kept coming over and over, just because it's the fastest move of Yoshi with the jab. You need to try diversifying your playstyle during the match. As an example, during our first matches, I found my Mac too defensive during the match. I decided to go full aggro against you for confusion, so that you wouldn't be able to actually learn my pattern perfectly.

Maybe you should try to find a second main or a secondary. Playing Yoshi is nice, but always doesn't prepare you well. Try playing other character to find new playstyles you could try to add on your Yoshi. For example, I played Doc for a long time and switched to Mario afterwards due to his better viability. But, during my matches, if I need to play defensive, I try to put the playstyle of Doc' on my Mario, so it can confuse and help me during the match.

In short : you're a good Yoshi player, but you need to not repeat yourself.
Otherwise, good games dude, keep playing !

God dammit now I gotta get back onto my shenanigans to not look like a copycat for using Mac.
I'm practicing my Back Slash Leap custom. It's really good for airborne platforms in reach. I figured that out when playing in Tomodachi Life stage. I never tested it in Battlefield, but it could definitely reach it (besides the top one). It could possibly make me able to control the opponent into staying below the platforms. It comes out really quick, perfect for lag/cooldown punishes.
Or something like that.
