[Knuckles the Knuckles]

I could see Ice Climbers returning as DLC after being reworked. Maybe make them a single character, but keep them as two models? So it would still seem like two characters, just invisibly glued together? I dunno.

Wow, Lucina has the ability to move down to where Shulk is. Now, since that is possible, what would cause her to move?
First, let's say Wolf and Mewtwo were in, Duck Hunt Dog and ROB could slide down to the next row. Luina would then move down. After that let's say, something causes Yoshi to move, the most logical thing would be Dr. Mario moving where he belongs. Game and Watch would then move to that row, putting DHD, ROB, and G&W (the retros) all together.

Can't wait until the XY2/Z/whatever games come which will be the prequels to XY! There, we'll learn more about Lysandre and Sycamore's relationship and how Sycamore was once an ex-member of Flare BECAUSE HE HAS THE SAME SOCK COLOUR AS THEIR SUITS!! It's all a conspiracy I tell you! that, or the game will be set in AZ's time and the Pokemon war omg can't handle this game

As much as having one Ice Climber is better than having none, I still think Sakurai needs to find a way around the problem that the 3DS poses. They do work well together, and it would be really weird to hear "Ice Climber" without the s. But 8 ICs on the Wii U would be brilliant, or even 4 ICs v 4 Rosalina and Lumas. I'd definitely like to see that.

Why not? Mewtwo belongs with the other Pokemon, and the order should be by Pokedex number as well IMO.

I would imagine it's because generally DLC characters for fighting games are in their own sections or menus. Even in Mario Kart 8 the DLC characters of each pack are grouped together rather than in more appropriate positions (Tanooki Mario isn't next to mario and neither is Cat Peach)

I was going to say that Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath were correctly placed DLC in the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 roster...
But they were disc-locked content, so they kind of don't count.

I have a bad feeling we may not get Pirate Ship/a Wind Waker stage.

You see. There's Wind Waker music for Skyloft (a remix medley of Great Sea and the Menu Screen) and one of Pirate Ship's songs is on Skyloft as well.

I remember than in Brawl, a stage from a certain game would get all the music from that game there. For example, all of Wind Waker's music went to Pirate Ship.

Unless this rule no longer applies or maybe the same song can play on multiple stages, I'm unfortunately not counting on a Wind Waker stage.

But I would be happy to be wrong.

With 8-player smash I'm a bit afraid of what the events will look like. Hopefully they don't toss you into a match with seven impossibly difficult AI's as a character you're terrible as. But at the same time it could lead to some really interesting groupings of characters such as fighting in a battle royale of the original 8 characters or fighting a huge hoard of Yoshis.

Also, now it all makes sense why they made it such a point to give every character 8 alternate colors

Judging by the 3DS version, it seems past stages are overall getting more new music.

Jungle Japes, Corneria, Distant Planet all had new music.

And it wouldn't be the first time the same song could be used for more than one stage. In Melee, the Dr. Mario theme played on both Mushroom Kingdom and Mushroom Kingdom II.

And Tal Tal Heights could have been moved from Pirate Ship to Skyloft, similarly to how Mach Rider moved from Big Blue to Port Town Aero Dive and Fire Emblem moved from Temple to Castle Siege (the latter case for obvious reasons).

So, I guess anything is possible. Only time will tell.

Nah, clearly it doubles. So we'd get 16 player matches. Just imagine the chaos. You can even be on the Orange or Purple team if you wanted.

This game is worth my money now. Gonna save for a second hand 3DS and a 3DS version of Smash.

Hope Impa will be DLC to. Have great hopes for the likes of Lucas and Wolf, who I felt where senseless cuts. Am betting for either Dixie or K.Rool as DLC to. Maybe even both as a pack?
