I'm not worried about the trophies much, but Powers are terrible. I have five left and I haven't gotten any new ones in what has to be thirty+ Smash Runs. I already have outfits, but I never get hats. Moves are indeed the worst though.

I don't enjoy Classic mode and never play it though, so the home menu trick doesn't do me any good-

...Son of a *****.
headgear you have no choices but to play because they are too rare to worth farming.

Powers isn't that bad because they don't depend on characters so I just use my lovely G&W and not get pissed to use slow character I'm bad at.

And smash run is distracting enough.

It is farming but I realised that in video games, there's 2 things you have to check to have good farming setup:

Productivity value and convenience.

The former well you don't have the choice, you have to smash run. That is the only thing, but you can accelerate it by not caring about taking anything but powers and speed. This is the fastest way to get the rng rolled the most time quickly and it's the goal of farming.

Convenience is what makes the farming the most easy to use as possible and if you can, make it less painful so it doesn't feel annoying to repeat short task. That's is why it's not that bad because playing smash run is already fun and thus, removes the fact that you're farming and it makes it more fun.

The problem with the moves in smash run is you have to use a character meaning including those you're bad at and in smash run, it can make the game not fun. Plus, the drops are more inconsistent compared to classic.

Conclusion, powers is ok, but not the moves and for headgear, they are too rare to worth any farming setup because there's almost no convenience factor except smash run, but it takes an eternity toget one so...just play the game and get the bags.

I enjoy every character besides Miss Fit, so this is not a problem for me.

I've also found Smash Run to be more consistent than Classic, as I can't get x0 or lose what I've found in Smash Run.

Reminder, home buffer implies it's impossible to get x0,

As for loosing stuff...well, there's really no choice but to either suicide intelligently or just be good.

Like, I said it's the worst I experienced...I meant it. It's even more annoying than pokemon encounter RNG which at least was kinda fun to do...

Little Mac is a ground based character who wants to stay in the mid-range. He wants to constantly be punishing the opponent with his safe as hell moves while going in and out of the opponent's range. He is not rush-down. When approaching the opponent you want to walk instead of running, as he has all of his options out of walk and save running for when the situation gets bad.

Basically, walk don't run, duck in and out of the opponent's range while staying in the mid-range sweet-spot he is so good at, and constantly keep your opponent under pressure but in a more defensive way instead of rush down.

Are you watching bad players or good players? Like who have you watched that plays him?
No, just people I played against that played little mac

and you know what, it does seem to work

Following your advice I closed the stock gap he had on me and am now 5 stock ahead

playing against a CPU to practice though

Yea, most people think Mac is rush down, I understand why people think this though. But he just really isn't.
Honestly I can't figure out how to beat little mac's online

However, playing as little mac I notice a lot of weaknesses he has

When I'm thrown by an opponent I feel very vulnerable.

When I recover with Side B, the opponent is able to just grab me and throw me back off the cliff in the time it takes me to gain control again.

The Direct just so happens to be during my most hated class, and will probably end before I even have the chance to watch it live.

Bleck.

"Pic of the day. The trophies from the Xenoblade series can be found mostly in the Wii U version. Here's Melia looking the other way."

I believe it's been said countless times there won't be exclusive characters, as in, the roster is the same for both versions.

The only hope for more characters is DLC, which would be released for both versions.

So the direct is at 3:30 am my time. I'll watch it later. At least Thursday is a holiday for me.

There is a couple things I don't understand in the game

When at high percent, I can NEVER escape from a grab, but the CPU ALWAYS escapes from my grab no matter what their percentage

Also, when I try and block Mac's KO punch with a shield, it hits me anyway

But when I try and KO punch someone with their shield up, it fails

K.O punch ignores shields, in case you don't know.
Also Perhaps you are missing you K.O punches? :troll:

CPU's have always been able to escape grabs faster than usual, and the KO Punch goes through shields. Maybe you're just constantly whiffing them like @ CyberHyperPhoenix CyberHyperPhoenix said.

I've killed myself so many times accidentally using side B instead of KO Punch

Speaking of Little Mac, I just completed my 9.0 Classic Run with him.
The last Master Core form was so anti-climactic it hurt.

That Sword form must have been hell though. I seriously hate the Sword form with all my being.
It hovers close enough to the ground that you can usually land up-smashes and (if you have it) the KO Uppercut on it, and maybe even a side smash at times. Worst case scenario you still have Mac's up-B.
If you know how the fight works and all of the moves, Mac can really take out Master Core pretty damn fast just because of how much raw damage you deal. The hardest part of the fight is the 1st form actually, since if you don't dodge that scream attack where he pushes you away then you're basically dead.
