Well, Wrath of the Reset Bomb could go to Palutena's Temple music selection and Full Steam Ahead would feel at home on a Wind Waker stage, be it a new one or the Pirate Ship from Brawl.
Honestly, I hope you're right. Full Steam Ahead is personally one of my favorite songs in Smash 3ds. The only reason I think it won't be in the Wii U version is because I can't think of where it would be a fitting song.
...
And before anyone points it out, you, Route 209 fit Spear Pillar just fine.

It's worse than I've imagined, the Star Wars fanboys' complaints over Star Wars Rebels is as bad as it was for The Clone Wars and the Star Wars prequels. I've seen the first few episodes and it perfectly captured the spirit of Star Wars very well (and no, Disney doesn't make EVERYTHING they touch kiddy). The fanbase will never be satisfied over the things that George Lucas does these days. :troll:

What point are you even trying to make? Seeing as how it involves Rosalina, I'm guessing it involves the ICs.
My point is that characters involving more than one character in one can function the 3DS version, despite limitations, by not working exactly like how the Ice Climbers do.

...I didn't say that? I'm fully expecting character DLC eventually.

But I still believe that the Chorus Men were a load of it. If not, then they went the way of the Climbers of Ice.
Fair enough, I suppose.

I would hope so. With the clues leading to DLC, that could be his (and maybe even Ivysaur's) chance to return.
I think that would make a lot of people happy. If I'm actually being slightly serious about a DLC discussion, I think a Pokemon pack would work out well enough.

Throw in both Stadium stages in HD. Bring back Squirtle, Ivysaur and a likely revamped Mewtwo. It'd be damn near perfect. I can't see any major complaints about that possibility.

And now a question: favorite music for Smash Run?

Mine:
- Air Man Stage
- Gerudo Valley
- Mechanical Rhythm
- Dark Pit's Theme
- With Mila's Divine Protection (Celica Map 1)
- Ballad of the Goddess / Ghirahim's Theme
- Boss Fight 1 (Kid Icarus: Uprising)
you don't like the Mega man nes classic mix?

I think, if we're having DLC veteran characters, these are the likeliest choices:
- Lucas
- Wolf
- Mewtwo
- Squirtle
- Ivysaur

Why not all characters, you may ask?

- Snake has the 3rd party status to be dealt with. May not be seen as worth the trouble for DLC.
- Ice Climbers have the 3DS problems.
- Roy would maybe feel a little redundant with Lucina around unless he got a major overhaul plus he's not a very popular character outside of the hardcore Smash fanbase either. The fact he was just added in Melee as marketing for the then next Fire Emblem title doesn't help matters.
- Young Link would feel redundant with Toon Link.
- Pichu doesn't have much going for him nowadays, though I admit he would be easier to implement.

Oh. Well that's fine. But on that topic...
Haven't we already established this?

Something I noticed is how all the cut characters' trophies except Pokémon Trainer don't allude to their past Smash Bros. appearances.

Even if we had all characters from previous games back, due to splitting transformation characters, Pokémon Trainer would always be left out.

Indeed, I may be looking at things a bit too deeply, but still an interesting observation...

Sakurai already dealt with the trouble of getting Snake once, and everyone ended up happy about it. Kojima still clearly wants Snake in, so it's just a matter of adding him at this point. There should be no troubles with Nintendo or Konami.

It's still possible that they can fix the Ice Climbers, it's only a matter of if they really just gave up or saved them for later.

Which of these outcomes is the most likely:

- Solid Snake being a DLC character
- One of these characters featuring moves inspired by Solid Snake's Brawl moveset are DLC:
Inkling (Splatoon)
Sami / Andy (Advance Wars)

I agree with you. We all know by now the only reason the Ice Climbers aren't in this game is due to legit compatibility issues. They are the most legit cut of them all. And, well, Snake is still a third party character, nuff' said.

Though don't be surprised if we'll still see people asking for Roy.

Though I'm a bit worried about Lucas's chances compared to the others. Since all four of his default moves are in Ness's custom movesets now. At least Wolf has his original Blaster, and his Wind Wolf thing not taken up by Fox or Falco. Add that to his mostly different A moves as well.

I've seen plenty of people including myself that think he could get in if they made him a separate character that quickly summons a Pokémon to make an attack and use items from his games when he doesn't.

Bu I see it highly improbable.

You surprised after how much Marvel fanboys overreacted five years ago?

Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. is still horrible though.

I wouldn't mind Snake coming back as DLC, just as long as it's followed by ten million nintendo characters before another third party character added as DLC.

Here's the song list I have on Smash Run.

-Mega Man 2 Melody
-Mega Man 2 Retro Melody
-Air Man's Stage
-Spark Man's Stage
-Brinstar
-Brinstar Depths
-Mario Bros 3. Melody
-Boss Battle 1
-Legendary Air Machine
-Pac-Man's Park
-Minor Circut
-You Will Know Our Names

Now that I'm thinking about it, I should add Gear Gateway, Try, Try Again and the Punch-Out!! Training theme.

I looked back a couple of pages... Google is jumping into the console business too. Will we be playing Temple Run and Candy Crush in HD on a TV screen now? :troll:

So I finally got around to doing doing the Smash survey on Club Nintendo, and they really want to hammer that soundtrack deal into your head.

I was so close... ;_;

To clear All-Star as Robin on Normal. Lost on the last level.

Stupid Rainbow Road. I just had Lucina, Dark Pit, Robin and Greninja left to defeat.

Can you list ten-million Nintendo characters?
With Mii Fighters, now you can!
Well, there's at least 49 versions of Mario. We got two in already. And then there's 90 versions of Link, every Single Pokemon, Each notable player Trainer, 7 versions of Samus. We'll make it in no time.

Don't feel too bad. I SD'd myself as Fox when Greninja was the last man standing.

Yow.

Anyway, harder as it may be this time, I really like the idea behind this version of All-Star.

You fight characters chronologically, almost as if the game is telling a story. A roster that spans over 3 decades. Quite impressive, if I do say so myself.

I like the chronological aspect but why is it so easy to clear? It's like Nintendo wanted the easiest All Star Mode for Smash 3DS

So, if we do ever get Snake back, I'd be happy as hell. He was fun to use. Probably my 3rd favorite newcomer in Brawl. Next to Ike and Charizard.

But we NEED Rules of Nature to be one of the songs in the game. It's the hypest song in all of Metal Gear.

I mean, there are 48 characters in the mode.

If they were difficult to beat, it would be REALLY tedious.

I'll just let Gilvasunner do his magic.
It was weird. Only one question had to do with getting Smash Wii U. And around fiver were about the sound track (Do you plan on getting the soundtrack? Did you purchase it because of the soundtrack? Etc.)

The only difficult levels in All-Star are the first with Counter Mac and I always get juggled in the final level.
