That is Level 10 butt.
If you're Pokemon has to recharge from, say, a move like Frenzy Plant, YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING.
You can't use items, switch, ect.
You're forced to be a sitting duck for an entire turn.
:\
That is more like a balance issue, they need to put a downside to such strong attacks, specially because they tend to be OHKO in certain situations, but still feels weird because its makes sense with a Pokémon locked in Outrage but with a recharging one? The Trainer is also paralyzed or what?

Actually I had a battle with a guy who used all the elemental Hyper Beams against me, the attacks were really strong obviously but the recharging turns helped me to set up Dragon Dances and do a clean sweep. So I feel that Hyper Beam and its variants are for "emergency purposes"

It's going to be RU at the very least. Ice-type Explosion coming from 120 base Attack could be good but I really don't know.
Could be good, if he can get it out in time - he's still 80 base speed on the first turn. It beats Lickilicky for the most powerful Explosion with Refrigerate's STAB. He's already shaping up to be a one trick kind of Pokemon. Explosion + Refrigerate + Ice Gem.

Mega Swampert is like the king of bulky waters now.

Mega Stellix is still... kinda crap. It's like a worse Mega Aggron.

Falco Punch.
It's looks almost as though Capt. Falcon launched Falco as a team attack using Falcon Punch, sending Falco flying forward as a living flaming projectile. Freakin' epic.

Meh, I'd rather have Space Horses.

Ice Gem isn't possible because it needs to hold the Mega Stone, but even without a gem Refrigerate Explosion can destroy everything that doesn't resist the hit and transform the field into a Tundra

Steelix actually looks more viable now, it loses sturdy but having a decent SpDef of 95 and monster Defense of 230 gives it a nice bulk, and with some team support (like a Bronzong with Trick Room and Sandstorm maybe?) has a sweep potential with Heavy Slam and Earthquake

Mega Sceptile: 70 HP / 110 Atk / 75 Def / 145 SpA / 85 SpD / 145 Spe

Mega Swampert: 100 HP / 150 Atk / 110 Def / 95 SpA / 110 SpD / 70 Spe
Sceptile's Speed is a bit overkill, but considering that it can't be Paralyzed, that does make it a bit threatening if you're not expecting it. Swampert also looks pretty good, I can easily see it being a threat in the rain.

Oh look. Move tutors are confirmed for OR/AS. Not surprising lol.
Soon, soon my MegaSalamence. Soon you'll have legal access to Hyper Voice, and then all of Doubles will kneel before you!

Kind of disappointed that there's no character customization in ORAS. I just wanted to change the skin tone the male character.

Though I'm happy about the move tutor. Because if I do have that game, I'm getting Blaziken Thunder Punch as a coverage move.

Yeah. Glalie needs to find an opportunity to Mega Evolve; one of these opportunities is that if the opponent switches out, Glalie Mega Evolves. Then it switches out until it finds an opportunity to KO the rest of the opponent's Pokémon. RU has stuff like Whimsicott who can Taunt / use Prankster Stun Spore, letting Glalie do whatever it wants.
Mega Swampert is a bulky attacker with the "pls nerf" Swift Swim. STAB Waterfall coming from 150 base Attack + Rain boost makes it a force to be reckoned with. Then again you can switch to a counter but Swampert is most likely going to use Waterfall / Earthquake / Ice Punch / Stone Edge. There are a lot of ways to set up Drizzle, so Swampert is going to have a good time in OU.
Steelix...eh. Sand stall could be a thing if it wasn't already. Earthquake / Toxic / Stealth Rock / Protect could work.
Ice Gem isn't possible because it needs to hold the Mega Stone, but even without a gem Refrigerate Explosion can destroy everything that doesn't resist the hit and transform the field into a Tundra

If Steelix goes to RU (It's NU right now) that is most likely going to work.

Mega Sceptile is just going to make Rotom-W pull a Gen 5 and run Hidden Power Ice just because of it. Its Speed is good which means it can outspeed stuff like Greninja, Keldeo, Terrakion and other stuff. Thanks to it being a Dragon-type too I think Talonflame is less of a "run!" problem.
Hyper Voice Mega Salamence...oh, no. Wait...that would make it "broken" in Doubles.

Somewhere magical
The more footsies based characters in this game are just tons of fun. Mii Brawler, Falcon, WFT, Lucario, Little Mac, Diddy, ZSS, Yoshi, Fox, and Falco. I think the only non-footsies orientated character I enjoy playing a whole lot is Palutena. The footsies game plan in Smash 4 is just so much fun.

This makes me wonder if Special Salamence is going to stay as the most viable Salamence or if the Physical one will make a comeback (in Singles case), I bred a Jolly Bagon with Dragon Dance with the hopes of running a set with DD, Outrage/Dragon Claw, Return/Double Edge and Earthquake. And maybe replace Dragon Dance for Aqua Tail if that Move Tutor returns.

Special Salamence is really popular in Doubles right now. I don't know why, but it could be because it hits stuff that Physical Salamence can't. But of course Mega Salamence gets Aerilate + base Defense boost, which when combined with Intimidate it makes Salamence a bit tough to take down on the physical side. Unless you want to pull a VGC 2014 with Follow Me Volt Absorb Pachirisu.

What's Smash World now....?

Ugh I feel so dumb asking this. Either I totally missed something that was brought up sometime ago or I haven't played the 3DS version nearly enough yet...

A leaked thing that had to do with the Tower of Something leak.
Smash World is apparently a mode exclusive to the 3DS version.
In addition to the Tower of Smash mode being available. The 3DS is also getting a new mode when the Wii U Version comes out.

This mode will be called “ Smash World “

This mode will be a mode where players can challenge players around the world in various formats of smash battles. The thing that differentiates this mode from others is that this mode can level your play skills and match you with players around your same skill. More features include daily challenges that must be met! If you play Smash World every day of the week, each day you will earn a prize and each day the prize will get better! Prizes include NEW Mii accessories, Coins, Smash Points, and for great performances, special powerups in future Smash World matches!

Is there something I'm missing?
What does the "Smash World" thing have to do with Master/Crazy Orders?

I'm not sure what to think about this, though I'm glad to see something new from the Wii U.

Some guy came here and leaked "Smash World."

Later on, a video was posted that had unused announcer calls from the 3DS:
  • Smash World
  • Master Order
  • Crazy Order
And now we have Master/Crazy Order. So Smash World looks like our new Wii U mode.
Still think most of what the guy said was bull, but him calling Smash World is something, at least.

Blurred out words?

...I'm not sure I want to know what the modes are
Master Bate and Crazy Bate.

This POTD only confirms one thing... Sakurai's a pooty mouth :troll:
Well, seriously speaking, this pic is really, really intriguing, and there's two long words censored on the top of the english pic: Smash World?, Tower of Smash?, Hand Mode? I just have no idea, but we can guess that the Crazy Side is unlockable or drastically different of the Master Side because that "How To Play" sign under the mode.

OK.
Now there's some "leak" that describes Smash World that claims "Tower of Smash" is actually real?
Which came first; the sound clip or the "leak"?
Well, according to the guy who leaked these sound clips, this all came from the 3DS's unused files.
He also claims ToS is legitimate. However, I don't buy that.
I mean, I'd like to buy it, but it's frankly too good to be true.

So the "leak" and the clips are from the same person, then.

I honestly don't know what to believe anymore. I mean, the clips were one thing, but to see evidence for content the clips are referring to is another.....
Though at the same time, anything not the clips themselves could easily be fabricated.....
....my head hurts now. I'm going to bed.
