You know what I mean.
The Zelda characters sans Sheik, who by the way, doesn't belong in Smash by the logic Sakurai follows, are still sort of suck. They're all slow or have other glaring weaknesses.
There's no new Zelda character. No Skull Kid, no Midna, no Ghirahim, no Tetra, no Tingle, not a damn thing.
No one cares about items so I'll just leave that alone.
And the Fierce Deity costume would have more of an impact it wasn't just a palette swap.

Because he is a noob at Zelda.
Maybe he doesn't hate Zelda. But he's likely never played a Zelda game. He played Fire Emblem Awakening and loved it. Look what happened: there are two new Fire Emblem characters.

Obviously Mii Brawler. Spider-Man's all about acrobatic hand to hand combat. He's so stronk, he doesn't need a weapon.

Well, I mostly asked because of a way to implement something similar to the web shooters, so I had doubts between Brawler ang Gunner.

Well damn, that's some logic I can't agree with.

"Zelda characters being weak" as nothing to do with Sakurai supposedly hating Zelda. It's more of a balancing issue that happens to affect Zelda characters. Anyway, Link has gotten some significant buffs this time around. His new running attack is the iconic jump attack too and a pretty good move at that.

With 5 characters, I feel there are enough characters for the franchise. A new character would be welcome, sure, but I don't think it's necessary.

I care about items.

Fierce Deity Link looks quite faithful to the original costume, which was quite low poly and lacking in detail. I prefer to think of it as a re-imagining in the Twilight Princess art style. Also, and more importantly, I'm pretty sure people were quite hyped for it despite being just a palette swap (like most of the costume choices, anyway).

Sounds like you're acting like "I didn't get what I want, therefore Sakurai is bad".

Then again, I'm probably among the few people that is just happy for the fact there's a new Smash game coming next week and don't give a **** about "muh representation".
