In the show Sonic X, there would be an annoying saxophone solo that occurs every time Rouge shows up on screen. It annoyed the hell out of me as a kid and I didn't really like her in Sonic Adventure 2 that much either. Her furry fanboys on the Internet definitely made me hate her as a character even more.

I don't like Rouge either, but fanboys shouldn't be a justified reason to hate something.
For example, Lucina is awesome even if the Fire Emblem Shipping squad make me sick of hearing her name.

Especially when stats aren't involved.

You've reminded me, I can hate Owain much less now that the Smash speculation is over and he's mostly dead deconfirmed from being playable like they've wanted. I agree, fans shouldn't be a valid reason to hate a character and the fans themselves should be hated instead.

In all honesty, out of the cast of Fire Emblem, if they were real people, I'd go with Lissa as my first choice. She's the sanest of the cast which can't be blamed since everyone's suffering from PTSD, is a Caligula like Gangrel, a warmonger like Walhart, and not to mention Tharja, the local yandere... I don't want to die. Anyway, she'd be a bright light in my life. Lissa would be followed by Cordelia, Cherche, female Robin, Anna, Tiki, and Libra. Yes, I will go there if everything's messed up. It'd be sad to leave Tiki since she has such a long lifespan. Anna... I don't know, I like redheads? ...

They really handled 11>12 a lot better than 10>11. The "I don't wan't to go" line may as well have been code for "HATE MATT SMITH". My point isn't that I dislike 11, but that 10's last line wasn't doing him any favors. "Deep Breath", on the other hand, did a fantastic job: "The Doctor isn't on the phone. The Doctor is right in front of you."
