They took out Chronicle mode? It took me a while to realize that they removed stickers as well.

...I liked the stickers, even though I never used them in the SSE. At all.

The funny thing is those were probably decided by business guys up top "WIIU HAS NO SALES!", "We need to cross-promote Nintendo products!"

No, it was Sakurai's idea to do both, not Nintendo's. In fact, when Iwata asked him about it, the question was for which one he wanted to develop for, he was surprised when he said both of them.

This reminds me of my donut steel back from the Crusade days. It was a caricature of myself that I used for literally everything, and probably spent more time making animations for him than the actual characters in the game. One of his "taunts" had him pull out smaller versions of himself that said "loljk."

Too bad I threw away all the animations. Would have been fun to look at them 5 years later...
