I guess the music was shortened to give it a good loop point. Songs like Engage the Enemy aren't meant to loop normally, so they usually just end right then and there. Which is why I'm wondering what they did with Battle on the Great Tower 2...

Sigh. Club Nintendo for UK sucks. The most expensive thing they have in the catalogue is a Yoshi Backpack for 6500 Stars. >_>

EU Club Nintendo is AWESOME!

Stuff like this, the Yoshi plush, and Super Mario 3D World soundtrack would never come over here. Problem is the better awards over in Europe take quite a lot of stars, but I think 700 coins in NA for the 3 Smash posters is getting close and quite pricey, literally about 600-650 US dollars in games, and remember, consoles don't give as many coins, Wii U only gives 160 for example. They're still up, probably because they printed a lot (SMASH) and it's so expensive. Hard to do a direct comparison with "exchange rates" but at least I can show you how bad our physical rewards usually are.

No question what I was going to get when they came up, but your rewards themselves are excellent in the EU, they really are, especially if you're not interested in too many Virtual Console games but rather physical stuff you can't get anywhere else. That said, I'm mostly pleased with the North American Club Nintendo, just wanted to point out the ways the EU one is better!

When does the deal end?

Whenever Club Nintendo runs out of something, then they're gone for good unless they do a reprint of these posters, so couldn't tell you when this will run out.

As for the Smash discs:

Promotion ends on the 13th of January, 2015

Register the games individually as you normally would on Club Nintendo and I guess just select the soundtrack discs once you have bought and registered both games, it should be an option.

BTW, in the fine print "The soundtrack CD will ship in March, 2015." I bet they're going to see how many they need to order before they start it, so be prepared to wait, don't expect these for months.

Have you ever had internet that was so bad you couldn't even connect to it? Well that was my holiday in a nutshell!

Well, if anybody cared, I'm still alive. I heard about the European release date being pushed forward (which is awesome for us) and the Direct was just glorious. Majora's Mask 3D (and the Europe exclusive special edition, which is really awesome for us ), Splatoon single player campaign, Duck Hunt Duo trailer, Xenoblade Chronicles: X, Mario Kart 8 DLC and S.T.E.A.M looking much more appealing!

Besides that, I also finished Hyrule Warriors' Legend Mode with Zelda, and I'm currently unlocking all the characters and playing around with the DLC. Man, it's a good game. I also got Shovel Knight, now that it's finally out over here, and it's pretty good. As for Smash, I've kinda stopped playing it now that's it been confirmed you can't transfer custom moves. I still play online quite a bit though.


Regardless, did anyone on the boards die while I was gone? I'm genuinely curious...

What I meant was if the cutting was to make sure the song plays for a 2 minute match, it works with Id Purpose because the entire song plays and loops in 2 minutes. Engage the Enemy still plays after two minutes. Regardless; cutting songs is stupid.
