A personal reason I want Wolf back:

Anyway, Lucas and Wolf back would make the roster pretty great, even considering the fact not all characters would be back.

I really hope Mewtwo isn't the only character to be DLC. There's so much potential.

They compare Amiibo to Skylanders which apparently earned 2 billion dollars. I think that's extremely unrealistic to compare the 2 as Skylanders had little competition when it started, whilst Nintendo has other priorities to focus on other than the Amiibo range. I can see it being successful for Nintendo but 2 billion? I'm very interested to see the initial demand for them this Christmas, and I wonder how long it will take for them to announce their big Amiibo only game. Will it be a sandbox game a la Disney Infinity? An RPG? Something entirely new? Across both the Wii U and 3DS/New 3DS? I expect to hear news of it sometime next year, maybe @E3. We'll see.

If they even announce an Amiibo-only game, it BETTER be a free download. Screw paying for a game thats useless unless you have a statue.

That being said, I'd be down for that.

I still doubt I'll ever purchase an amiibo, I need to see a game implement them in such a way that convinces me that they are worth it. Otherwise they are just decent quality figurines sitting on my shelf which i don't care for.

**** you guys, Waluigi is the man. He's too good for Smash, they could only afford for him to be onscreen for twenty seconds, that's why he's an Assist Trophy.

Speaking of purple, I just finishing playing Saints Row 4. Not as solid as the Third, but definitely feels more sandbox.

After 2, 3 felt like such a step backwards in terms of everything (mainly customisation, story, gameplay, side missions, progression and rewards), and I didnt like how hard they tried to be funny, like, they tried WAAAAAY too hard, while previously the ridiculousness and over-the-topness mixed with some serious story bits was how the humor flew naturally, kinda in a Japanese sort of way. With 4 though, they just jumped the shark in the most amazing of ways and just made a Crackdown, superpowers and aliens and all. Kinda a shame the series now has to be this way to stay alive, it was nice having a GTA-clone that tried to be more, instead of becoming a self-parody superhero game.

Never played 1 or 2, I was under the impression that the first two were essentially a poor man's Grand Theft Auto and The Third is where they started not giving a ****.
I will admit 4's humor is better, but Adult Swim helped with The Third so you probably have them to thank for the lack of quality humor.
Saints Row The Third is the first time I played any open-world crime game and enjoyed it, so maybe that helps.

The first one was pretty much how you described it, but the second one I still hold as the best in the series.

So I go to the third-to-last page, and people are mentioning that things got weird even for the Social Thread. Also, gifs and fetishes.
