Im sad because I cant find my Pokemon Diamond game

Not when you are in a forest with only flying, poison, grass and bug pokemon

and your only other high level pokemon is a bug/ poison

and you realize serperior can only learn grass and normal moves...

I know it's partially my fault for only raising those two, but I had such and awful time it soured my experience to only seeing the bad in the game

Gen 4 had such awesome starters that gen 5's were really disappointing

Gen 6 got back on track though

It's funny how we all have varying opinions on which is the best/worst generation of Pokemon.

My personal favorite is tied between Hoenn and Sinnoh, due to the amount of time spent on them both. Plus, Ruby was my first Pokemon game.

Johto is a close second.

I mostly hated gen 5 because the starters sucked

I had such a horrible time with serperior

and the others weren't much better

Gen 5 has the worst starters. I only like Snivy, but he's not that strong in battle, even when fully evolved. The other two are just underwhelming.

One thing I will say about ORAS, is that I think it's the best Pokemon game in which the Exp. Share was implemented. It gave Exp to your entire party, plus I don't think it was divided. Your starter never lost out on Exp either. You're basically dealt with more Exp than if you had it turned off.

I hope they don't change it in the future.

When I was a kid I was always the last kid picked up by the bus driver to go to school.

One day I was waiting for the bus by myself and a bus with no kids pulled up.

The bus driver smiled and told me to hop on. I just had a bad feeling, I said “where are the other kids?” He said “We will go get them now, just get on.” He got more and more pushy but didn’t do anything crazy. I just kept saying no and he shrugged and left.

The real bus pulled up a few minutes later, I went to school and my parents didn’t know until I mentioned it that night.

Story Time just got creepy.

My mother tells me I had wandered away on my own at a railway station. The obvious dangers aside, apparently that particular station was infamous for kidnappings back in the 90s. I can understand that it would have scared the living hell out of my family members, but I don't remember it.

My dad told me once when i was much younger that i ran away from some sort of event... I can't remember wat it was but the police and my dad and my bro (i think) were searching for me.

Separate coaches for women are a thing here too. Only in metros though. Normal trains can't really do that.

I don't think that counts because you don't experience any of the story and the characters are different

Not to mention it doesn't really feel like anything you do in Kanto in Gold/ Silver matters.

It's just a bonus. The story in the game is already over.

Kanto needs a ORAS level of upgrade with changes to the actual plot of the game and expansions

I got a shiny cyndaquil on my 7th reset at my aunts house, I have captured over 70% of my shinies at her house. Something about that house is magical.
