Strange how a huge chunk of the problems with movie/tv show versions of video games can be chalked up to surprisingly few admittedly tempting pitfalls.

>People either not bothering to so much as look up a wiki or call the company whose work they're adapting to fact check, people actively rewriting and destroying characters for their own personal fantasies, or both.

>OCs that no one cares about being the protagonists instead of the characters people are trying to watch the movie/show because of.

>Stupid rehashed plotlines like,
"Oh noez, the worlds are fusing and we have to keep them apart or it will destroy them both, despite both originally being the same world in the first place!" Or "Oh noez, there are real live video game characters here and we have to send them back because reasons!"

>Having an action-y video game character and then almost never using them in any actual fight scenes. If there are fight scenes, they always look super pathetic, even if the media is animated and they can do better than that.

Like seriously, fix these things and you're already fifty steps ahead of Hollywood. Feel free to list more things that could be fixed for me to add to my "do not do" list, though.

I really can't wait for Fire Emblem Fates, it's gonna be better than Awakening I hope. Does anyone know if they are gonna let you buy both versions in a pack or something?

Yeah, I hope Conquest is hard, I enjoyed Lunatic+ in Awakening, but I want Fates to figure out a way to make it challenging but not have to resort to giving enemies unfair abilities (Luna+ I'm looking at you :glare:)

Enemies can pair up in Fates. so prepare for the Waifu Army.

If I bother getting it, I'll probably get the third DLC storyline because I totally called how they would handle the two opposing factions and that disappoints me.

What's truly disappointing though, is that they kept saying how the writing was awesome because they got Shin Kibayashi but it's still a bunch of walking stereotypes :/ PLUS OC THE LORD DO NOT STEAL


But I don't think you can buy the 3rd route by itself :/
