........ Heheheh. So this is where the "split opinions" come from? I think the story is the most important part. W/o it, Ange wouldn't have any character development and would just be a bland character the writers threw in. Her backstory is also pretty interesting and how she ties in with Maria. A change of pace is nice at this point considering many characters have pretty strong foundations. It keeps the episodes engaging.
That's what I think.

The split opinions come from how it becomes less like solving the murders and more into "crazy nonsense that doesn't make sense" with how they keep adding new things and all of that.

I personally like it. Also, EP 7 is very big on story, so you will like that one probably.

Thanks @Erika! You didn't seem rusty at all. And those two Rests you landed were clean! I genuinely think you would've won most of those matches if you hadn't SD'd. Jigglypuff has always been a challenge for me, and yours is no exception. Keep practicing, and you'll be a scary opponent.
