If there's nothing inappropriate within the avatar per se then there's nothing wrong with it.

Go to Settings -> Time and language.
Or go to Control Panel -> Date and Time -> Set the time and date.

Browse through all of them and you'll eventually find a way to change the format. I ain't that good at explaining stuff.

It depends on the host, but at its core, it's essentially pitting an informed minority (the mafia) against an uninformed majority (the town) to see which group survives.
